Jays finally release Romero, still can't figure out what went wrong with him.
Greg Zaun said he had a bad knee (both knees were operated on last year) and this affected his pitching motion. Stroman should be careful not to change his pitching motion as he recovers from his injury.

Bullpen ruins a solid outing by Norris. I still think the BP is going to prove to be the one glaring soft spot this season.

the glaring soft spot is the manager. Castro cant get the breaking ball over so Loney sits on fast ball. The other night, Machado knew what was coming and crushed it. What did Brett Cecil do to deserve such disrespect. A soft single and he is lifted....cuz Gibbons panicked. Pinch hitter comes in and knows he is getting first pitch fastball. Send Gibbons to Buffalo

That's the problem I've always had with Gibbons. His set ups and game calling are solid but when it comes to making that crucial decision for the sake of wins, he screws it up. He got the benefit of the doubt for not sparing the rod with Kevin Pillar last year, but that goodwill is evaporating quickly. And the Jays haven't had a quality pitching coach since Mel Queen.

Jays again losing to the Rays, 2 lousy hits thru 7 innings. Maybe they should just forfeit the games against the Rays and just stay home.

Listened to a couple of innings on the radio. Buehrle was victimized by some bloops that found a hole. And of course, we can't hit Archer.

When the Blue Jays lose they look terrible .26 strikeouts this series against the Rays . Unable to manufacture any run. Maybe they can turn things around startiing tomorrow in Boston.

Why are the next three games vs the Bosox at 6pm instead of 7pm?
experiment in Boston.....could be better for people who work downtown to come to games from work, and better for kids to be home an hour earlier. Not a bad idea. It gets darker earlier on the east coast might factor as well.

after 3 weeks...Kevin Cash ensures that Gibbons remains the fifth best manager in the division

I listened to the game on the radio today....Jerry and Joe beat the hell out of Buck and "I agree with you and will repeat the same things" Pat
