Shoot, a line shot to 3B is caught and Rasmus gets doubled off. This is a must win game for the Jays to stop the bleeding.
With NOBODY OUT...
That was a Little League mistake by "Rocket Scientist" Rasmus...
This is how Craptastic teams play while Gibby scratches his balls.

Rasmus may look stupid and sound stupid. But don't let that fool you. He really is stupid.

jays only down 7-0 to seattle
I don't make a point to watch the Jays anymore. If I happen to be watching TV, then I might switch channels to see how badly they are doing. The 2013 season so far is an UNMITIGATED DISASTER, maybe the return of Reyes will turn the season around.

Even this early in the season the quote of the year has to go to Bautista: "I don't see what can go wrong."

Only everything.

Its over, this team is over, we are not going anywhere fast, they cannot turn this around, not without some change...

Coaching staff and Gibbons all has to go now before it is too late... find someone please...

Sparky Anderson could do more with this team, even in his current condition... Yeah I know...

Then what?

Shoot him like a horse with a broken leg? :eyebrows:

Or put him back on 'roids?

Perry
release him outright...on the 14th and 15th, we play the giants (who didnt want him back). That is some incentive for him to get going. But I would rather watch Gose develop rather than an old pro deteriorate....cabrera hitting .235 with no power is not major league left fielder stuff....

I would set a date of May 15...if not turned around after 2 games with giants....fire Gibbons and Mottola.....release Cabrera, get rid of Rasmus...maybe Lind...bring up Gose and Sierra.....thats what I am thinking if I am AA....If turned around by then, keep em and go for it

Add Walker on the list of those who deserve pink slips. Hentgen has more credibility as a pitching coach, being a former Cy Young winner and all. Was at the game this afternoon. Many in our section was like "What the fuck?" when they fired the ball around the horn after the third out in the fifth. What a complete and utter klusterfuck.

Later in the season, we should see Drew Hutchison and Kyle Drabek pitching...maybe McGowan......unless one of our 3 superstar pitcher (?) acquisitions gets it going

Gibbons has to go for sure , they have not won 1 series all year. He has no clue on a batting order.

With 130 games remaining the Jays will need to go, at least, 85-45 at this point (10-21) to assure themselves of a post-season berth.

If they continue the way they are playing they will end the season approximately 60-102.

Does anyone think that THIS team, right now, has any chance of basically winning 2 out of every 3 games for the rest of the season?

later this year we should see Kyle Drabek pitching
No way. Drabek isn't even throwing off a mound yet. He's still 6 months away. So basically we won't see him until 2014 or 2015 if he spends a year at AAA getting back to the basics.

You might be right about drabek.. I had assumed one full year off from time he went down, and thought he might be back with jays in september. My point is don't those guys sound good now?....

Right, cause it's the batting order that is the problem, not the fact that out of all the regulars the best average is 250.

You put Tony Larussa behind this bench of the team and you'll have pretty much the same result.

The problem is when you release Rasmus nobody might want him
