Palestine is composed of Gaza and the West Bank. Gaza is ruled by a militant group that has not allowed elections for the last 17 years and has defacto taken control unlike Israel that elected Bibi. Hamas is already acknowledged as a terrorist group but Palestinians in Gaza do not have any control over them. In Israel however, the democratically elected govt is committing terrorism against the Palestinians and therefore it is appropriate to call Israel a terrorist state. Hamas won the election, this pissed off the US and Israel, who backed a coup attempt that ended up separating Gaza from the West Bank, with Hamas vs Fatah.
