Nope. Wasn't banned. I am done with the board and the racist idiocy on here. Isn't good to constantly be on here dealing with old, lonely, fat racists. You may ask why I am commenting now. Well some cunt was ranting about immigrants and how they are invading Canada and I just couldn't help myself. But this is my last post for real. Adios.
Get used to it if and when Pee Pee takes over they will come out into the sun in the open like fat hairy walruses bathing in Pee Pee and the radical right way.

This is a comment I'd expect from a petulant child who takes his ball and goes home because he's losing.

Go on and read exactly what the witnesses testified:

Just because the witnesses were not physically present at that time, does not mean that the rape did not occur.

But tell us why Trump is denying that even the sexual abuse / assault ever occurred in the first place? Do you believe him or Carroll in this instance?
This wouldn't even make trial in a criminal law court because there's absolutely no evidence that Trump did this. And there is motive on E. Jean Carroll's behalf to lie....$$$$$.

Except its already been through the courts and rump is supposed to pay $85 million for slandering his rape victim.

Do you think he'll be replaced before the election?
I'm leaning slightly toward no, but there is a lot of pressure to try and get him out.
The media have rarely been this close to claiming a scalp and are very excited.
The mega donors who couldn't get get DeSantis in are hoping maybe they can get someone in place on the Dem side.

Same should happen for rump, given the latest round of Epstein court documents combined with some new pedo allegations which some how haven't made it in the press yet.

The press isn't that interested in Republican sex crimes if it is just "Oh, Epstein again".
That's boring for them.

Press herds are a thing.
This situation is different.

I actually posted the Clooney thing above as more of sarcasm towards Hollywood self-importance than anything. I came to realize quickly that he has a lot of influence with Hollywood's political donors. More importantly, Clooney is tight with Obama. It's likely Obama did not discourage him from writing his op-ed.

I would give Biden's chances of staying in the race 50/50. That's a big, big story and certainly a problematic one until the Chicago convention in August.

Not really.
Something can be a legitimate story - which this is - and also obviously a press herd situation explaining why "It seems like it's the lead story every night since the debate".

That's assuming a lot about how tight they are and whether or not Clooney would have run it by Obama.
I have no idea if that is a reasonable assumption or not.

I think right now they are about 55/45 in favor of him staying in.

I'm not the first to say this, but much of the liberal press turned on him. I don't know why, but it was like a switch flipped and they can now vigorously question Biden's aging.

You're not much for this thing some of us call the liberal press. A press that leans and to a degree advocates for the Democrats. This is a story about the American press as much as it's a question of Biden dropping out.

Where were they before June 27th? Why is the White House press corps just now asking these tough questions?

There have been a number of theories put forward as to why.
Some are more reasonable than others. (Some are batshit insane.)

The press doesn't advocate for Democrats in the US.
It isn't very left leaning and certainly isn't pro-Democrat.

But yes, why they are going into crusade mode is absolutely part of the story.

Where were they before June 27th? Why is the White House press corps just now asking these tough questions?
June 27th gave them a hook and the intra-party freakout gave them room to run.

As I said in the debate thread "Biden looked old and didn't settle the questions about his age" and "Trump was fiery and didn't disqualify himself" were already the narratives they were going to run with.
That was already set.

Biden's performance being so bad, though, fed right into that narrative more than anyone could have expected, so it went big.

Once the calls from within the party started happening, the Press has a story they absolutely love and they are going to stay on it as hard as they can now.

You right wingers are praying Biden drops out because he had the most voted for president in the history of the united states

If the take on MAGA is that the reason they support rump is because he's shit disturber and can get away with it then the more he can get away with the better. In which case framing his as an inept crook is the proper take, a guy so stupid he leaves easy trails everywhere.

So the take becomes how stupid do you have to be to be on Epstein's flight log 61 times, have 14 numbers in Epstein's books, get charged with Epstein for raping a 13 year old and to leave messages directly for Epstein.

Except there is no liberal press in the US.
Its all owned by right wing billionaires with a few small exceptions like NPR and Pro Publica.

No proof that Carroll lied when Trump was ordered to pay $91.6 Million.

Trump is the biggest liar and he will never get away with it in an actual Court of Law!!

But why would the Media want to frame it that way?
If they aren't going to try and do a feeding frenzy on Trump, there's no point.

Just mention the new release of info and then do one story and stop.

I think privately Trump and the Republicans want to run against Biden than another Democrat. If the Democrats pick the right candidate to replace Biden, in my opinion they will fare better. It's possible the Republicans will regret running Trump if the Dems pick a strong, younger replacement.

Now if you insist on advocating for Biden as if he is the answer explain to us what you are seeing that most Americans don't see. Clue: Having the most votes four years ago really has no bearing on future performance especially when everyone can see Biden has significantly slowed down.

They want to face kamala
Biden next
Then the rest. All Biden needs is to be on his game during the next debate and he wins the election. All of this doubt helps the democrats because the republican don't know who to open sham investigations against to make them look bad. Who do you think makes the short list if Biden is replaced ? Obviously kamala is on there and Newsome but who else ? When Joe beat Trump in 2020 I thought that Bloomberg would have been a much better pick.
