Hello???? Remember Baltar for the most part faked it but somehow it worked on Boomer and he didn't have a clue why it worked he just covered it up so he didn't have to deal with it... other then that he spent a majority of his time daydreaming Caprica sucking him off and fracking off.... now he's in jail... so I wonder LOL

HOLY FUCK I didn't see those four coming, I was convinced Adama, the President, Baltar and maybe Starbuck was one... shit... frack.... my gods...... But Tigh, Tyrol, Foster and Anders, whoa didn't see those one's coming.

Three of the four have something in common Tigh, Tryol and Anders have all lost a love that may have been a Cylon. Tigh's wife was tested with the "Cylon tester" because she just appeared after everyone thought she was dead, Tryol lost one of the Boomer babes, Anders lost Starbuck who could be a Cylon (it could also cover why Lee could also hear the music). There isn't enough information on Foster. Or they could be Cylons. :D

Yeah, that has been itching around in the back of my mind too. It would be a typical plot twist for them to turn out to be humans at the beginning of season one.

As for the cylon test being fake: sorry, I don't remember that at all. I do remember Baltar saying that it is terribly time consuming and would take years to test everyone in the fleet.

I think you should watch season 1 over again. Baltar was pretty much part of the crew and he was eager to find out who were cylons and humans. Yes, it was a fluke that he found Boomer as a cylon, Boomer pushed for the test to do done on her which she tested positive. The test was real. Watch episode 8.

I bought the older epic series on DVD. It cam with 6 DVD and 4 were double sided, 10 DVD equivalent and it came in a really cool silver cylon head. After a few weeks I finally wanted them all but I do recall episodes that I did not see on the DVDs .would any one know were I Could get the rest of the older episodes not found on this epic collection?

There were some web episode but they don't work any more off the bsg website.

All the episode that we aired should be available on DVD.

I dunno about that, 7 of 9 was pretty freakin hot.....plus the borg have that black leather/pvc thing happening for them.

But yeah, cylons, 6 and boomer are hot but lucy lawless' character was a little chunky for my tastes....

Put a borg, cylon, alien and predator in the same room (or spaceship, planet, whatever), and let them at it.

That would make a good movie.

Alien vs Predator vs Cylon vs Borg. If anybody makes a movie, I want movie rights!!

Yes, Baltar was in with the crew in the beginning, but a lot of his efforts were to make sure no one found out that he was responsible for the defense grid being destroyed by the cylons in the first place.

As for the cylon test, sorry, but it wasn't real at all, and in one of Baltar's "sessions" with Caprica, he even admitted to her that the test was fake and got worried that the rest of them were going to find out. She then led him to say that the test needed more work and that he needed the nuclear bomb to finish the test - which they got. And didn't that nuke end up being used by some of the cylon collaborators???

The test somehow picked up Sharon as a cylon, but it was supposedly a fluke.

Alien, Predator once they die they die..... Borgs are collective but cannot ressurect, as long as the ressurection ship is nearby the cylons will just keep coming back and coming back and coming back, sometimes a few models come back a few different times ... see Boomer and Athena!

Thank you!!! I have 80% of ALL the episodes downloaded from torrents, I've probably watched EACH season 3 times minimum, I KNEW it!!!!!! Baltar NEVER knew why the stupid test worked, he just didn't want to deal with the implications of ANYONE being a cylon. He was never really a part of the "crew", he has always been and always will be a self serving, self preserving, self centred prick! That being said he's starting to make sense for the first time and this whole "purpose" thing has made him just a tad bit more palatable.

As for the trial, the truth is that the president DID absolve EVERYONE of their crimes during the occupation after a few of those "secret" trials, so they could have run with that too. The Matrix/Lawyer dude is very intriguing.... And Foster I want to know more of! Maybe the four revealed are a product of ALREADY done cylon/human mixed breeding?!?!? Maybe path to earth is the reconciliation of Cylons and Humans??? So many maybes :)

Don't get me wrong Funseeker and Cute In A Kilt. I just want some clarity because I didn't think this season was great and it lost my interest until now.

I've been trying to find that episode where Baltar and Six are talking about the cylon test, but I couldn't find it. So I can't take your word as face vault. I watched episode 7 to 9 over again. To me, the test did work and no one gave me a fact that the test did not work. So I went on BSG forum site, someone explained that the test was real but since Baltar gave Boomer the green and Boomer shot Adama at the end of season1. Col Tigh questioned the validity of the test (S02e04), but test was suspended due to unreliability that Baltar gave false information in the first place.
