Basically, the black community in N.America has an image problem - rap videos, cops, AIDS stats, criminal stats etc don't help.

Asians are known as the model minority for a reason - most of them came to N.America with little possessions and built successful careers and lives for themselves and families. The younger 'uns could do better but from where i see it, even they don't have half the image problems that blacks do.

True, there is hardly any Chinese leading actor in Hollywood movies.Only martial artists like,,Jackie Chan,Sumo Hung,Jet Li,Stephen Chow(kung fu hustle)and Donnie Yen.
Tony Leung(Chunking express and hero) and John Cho (Harold and Kumar)but he's Korean doing comedy.

But when Hollywood is bored and being lazy running without ideas they do remakes of Asian films. The Ring1+2,Black Water,The Eye,The Grudge1+2 and Internal Affairs.

One superb Chinese movie "Lust and Caution" also one of the most important military, political and business books ever written "Art of War". I would think there are many more examples of wonderful film and written excellence from China, perhaps most of it never gets translated. Despite my "small winkie" comments, I have nothing but praise and admiration for what Chinese immigrants have provided for Canada.

They for the most part have a respect for education, hard work, diligence, family oriented, respect for their parents. They make superb capitalists, entrepeneurs, fantastic diverse food. In short they have been and continue to be outstanding immigrants. If this is a sterotype so be it.

You all need to grow up a bit.

Some repeating, with my added 2 cents:

- work on improving yourselves (take classes, meet women with common interests, etc.); you will be more interesting and gain confidence

- don't be materialistic, and that includes being obsessed with your cars - I see some discussion about 'exotics' and sh*t and I can tell you that 90% of chicks are turned off when a guy starts talking cars

- don't be defensive about your lot in life, and that includes justifying why you only tip 10% - most chicks find that kind of talk a turnoff - if you're cheap, just let it be, don't talk about it and explain to your date why you're cheap - all she'll remember is, damn he's cheap!

- there are tons of mixed couples in Canada - go out west where it is uncommon otherwise, and I am talking Asian male with non-Asian female; for some reason it's less common in T.O., probably because of the huge Asian community

- it's hard to tell someone with a negative attitude to be like Obama and say "Yes I Can", but dudes, that's really where you need to start - the way you're talking out here suggests that you are setting yourselves up to fail before you've even started

I have never seen a hot girl that dates a polite, nice guy. 99% of asian men are polite/nice. Every hot girl I have ever known either dates a white jock bully, a latino gangbanger, or some black drug dealer. Fat ones and nerdy girls are left for the rest of the guys.

And I know this from night clubs, high schools and even my own apartment building.

In terms of chicks I don't know what asian guys have to complain about. All the authentic hot asian girls rarely date outside their race. All those yellow feverish white/brown/black guys can only dream of such high grade pussy.
