I have dated many women, and moreover have many female friends and despite whatever lame characteristics they say they seek in a mate (sense of humour, compassion, sensitivity) - it's ALL bullshit. At a basic, primal, undeniable level, all women want a guy that is successful and can provide at some point.

Maybe back in the 50's when the male was the single bread winner. We are way past the cave man era and two incomes is the norm. You would be very hard pressed to find many families who can afford to survive on just one income.

Also, if your theory is true, then all women would gravitate towards the top earners, leaving crap women for the average populations. I see the opposite. When I look at my circle of friends, I see guys in the 'low desirability scale' with lower paying jobs hook up with incredible women, while a couple of managing directors at the brokerages have nothing. These people epitomizes your two criteria, with quarterly bonuses reaching/exceeding 6 figures and high powered jobs. There has to be more. Maybe compatibility??? hmmmm....

Good jobs do not equal girls. Asians, in general are very money focused. There is so much to life than money. Yes, it does make life a little easier, but it is not the end all. Stop being so materialistic! Studies show that the BMW does not get the girl. You may think that the BMW make you look cool, but at the end of the day, you are still that same dull guy with a nicer car. I've never driven anything more than a Civic. I like to spend my money elsewhere, like self improvement. You will be surprised at how a few classes will make you more interesting.

You only say there is so much more to life than money because your parents busted ass so that you would have enough money and so that you could live in a prosperous country.

From your "gwai lo" comments I'm assuming you are from HK. Well, how much energy would you have for classes and self improvement if you had the work week of most people in HK? The majority of people there work nine to ten hours during the week (standard hours, not including staying late) and half day on Saturday, and at pay rates that barely allow them to rent a small room or apartment. The same goes for Japan, Taiwan and South Korea. And these are the *rich* countries in Asia!

I agree that having money doesn't guarantee getting women. I think if black guys really do pull more girls its probably because they have a culture of outward-confidence-at-all-costs. But are you really going to say that on average guys who have less money will be more confident than guys who have more? Probably not.

Dude, when I was talking about racism, it's not talking about teasing. As mentioned above, asians have a serious prejudice against other races, blacks and indians get it the most. I told someone at work that I was going to Caribana and he was like 'why the hell do you want to go there?' The blacks know this too because when I go to a strip bar, it is quite rare for a black dancer asking me for a dance. I usually have to approach them. Also, I was always part of the cool kids.

Asians don't drive exotics. When a Ferrari or Lamb goes by, how many times do you see an asian driving it? Zero. The BMW or Mercedes is the preferred status symbol, even though those are used as taxi cabs elsewhere. Also, R8 is not exotic. It looks nice, but it is in the same class as an NSX.

Yes canadian born are most likely to want white. You see, being a CBC is like being caught in the middle. You look asian but you have the mentality of a caucasian. So, what do you do? Either find another Canadian born asian or caucasian because you have zero in common with Asian FOBs.

Finally, about the extreme difficulty...other asians do not make the task easier. Picture this, white girl walks down the street, asian FOB horks and spits everywhere. What goes on in the mind of the white girl...Asians=Horks and spits= EEEwwww. Also, the stuff that asians eat is also a turn off. Who the hell invented eating chicken feet? Also, ever walk through Chinatown? It stinks! That is another strike and all of these strikes combined make asians look like low class smucks even though they are well off financially. Money does not buy class.

About China. Let me tell you a little story. When my mom was a school girl in grade 1, she was forced to take a little governement sanctioned field trip to witness an execution. Then all of the kids were told that if they did not follow orders and get out of line, that was their fate also. WTF is that? The people of China are still not free. They have 'freedom' if you dance when they say 'dance'. If they don't and say the wrong shit they're dead.

I believe that was a long time ago when Mao was still in power. Things have changed. China is no longer a communistic country. China is changing and evolving as we speak. People who runs the country are getting more educated and sophisticated.

About the Dalai Lama. Did China not strongly suggest that Harper and Bush not meet with him and that future repercussions will occur if these 'suggestions' were not followed? Also, what about beating and killing those monks? And a little further back...tiananmen sqare? I am not the only one feeling what I feel. Did you see all of the problems they had with the olympic torch run and all of the the protests?

At the end, Dalai Lama was able to make his own choice to go to places wherever he desired to go. He was not held back in the country by China. If China really have issue with human right, I would have seen Dalai Lama being imprisoned or executed.

About the monks, did you not see them with their associates (with machete) chopping up a woman and their baby? The cars that got burned and the drivers struggling to get out of the burning vehicles? Anyway, I am not completely saying that the monks are violent and that they are harming civilians, but my point is that there are two sides to a story. I could not judge without knowing the two sides.

And I LOVE the way that China controls what their people are exposed to. Total censorship. They did not hear of the torch problems. They did not hear of the troubles with the monks. They even try to control what gets out of the country. Say you want to do a documentry in China, you have to have a couple of officials tagging along so that the people that you speak to fall in line. If that is 'freedom', I don't want it.

The Chinese people knows exactly what happened. You know, the funny thing is that even in a country with such strong censorship like in China, people are still able to find out a lot of things through underground medias. They see the disruption and they see the Tibetan trying to snatch the Olympic torch away from the handicap girl. Anyway, as I mentioned, all I am saying is that there are two sides to a story. Everything is not black and white like what you see on the surface. It gets gray and complicated as you dig deep into the issue.

I don't think this is the case of racism. It's like a Texan see this New Yorker and calls him a Yankee, and the New Yorker calling the Texan a cowboy/redneck. They are indeed from the same country. His theory is true. I used to think otherwise until I was corrected by women time and time again. Women knows that at some point in their life, they need the flexibility to be able to stay at home. They don't require someone who is extremely rich, but someone who could make enough to keep their current standard of living if she does decided to take sometime off work, whether it is because of labor or maternity leave or just because.

As for the reason why the managing directors was not able ot get the incredible women, it is all really depends on their social network and their social environment. They won't be able to meet any women in their country club. They also won't be able to chat with any women they see while they are driving their Ferrari to work. Their chance would have increased had he just hang out at the right place.

Thanks, you can surely buy me a beer but not a semi cheap hooker. Nothing comes cheap these days and you get what you pay for. As in life, you get what you put into it, regardless of race.

As I posted, let's not focus our energy on races and some of the differences. Just go and enjoy life and happy hobbying.

How do you know that? You, like everyone else watches a few episodes of Cops and think that that makes you an authority on black people. All the black people I know are doing well for themselves. I get the sense that some Asian girls would rather go out with an overweight, balding white guy than with one of us. Many white girls seem to prefer a black guy with dead-end job than one of us even if we are well kept with good jobs.
