any soccer fans here :)

Man United looked flustered all season.
It Didnt help that v. Nistelrooy was injured a lot but they look like a team that needs some fixing.

You're right, Johnny...There were far too many losses to teams in the lower rung that the Reds seemingly took for granted.

Arsenal were deserving winners by a long shot this year...

Careful !! If your head does, indeed, fall off, I just may kick it out of disgust ! :)
You and me will kick it together. I doubt they'll beat them however, but then again ya never know.

I'll laugh my head off if Millwall beats Man United
in the FA cup final!!!
Lmao if it happends..... :D

But regardless of what they say (magic of the Cup and all), ManU will never Lose that game. They are Too Pro for that.
There is no Way in Hell Millwall Players can measure up to ManU's Squad of Killing Machines!!

I miss the "Cantona" Times.....
The day he sinked that Goal in SEcond Half against Liverpool in the Finals.....

There's a rumor that v. Nistelrooy wants out of Man U and go to Barcelona. He got into a fight with Bellion out of all people because he feels he's not giving the team 100%. He's being accused of faking injuries...etc.

Stay tuned!!

I keep hearing Barcelona want Trezeguet...also Kluivert and Ruud dont get along, Ruud would only go if Trezeguet didnt, and Kluivert leaves...however, I dont think Ruud will be going anywhere.

and maybe we should have our own section, same three people keep posting, haha!

I think Man U should sell VNistelrooy while he is still popular (re: his Good Season 2 years ago)... if he goes through an off season again, ManU takes the Risk of having to sell him for half what he could be worth Today

Trezeguet is Very Good but Too Moody for me... He would not be a + to the Squad.

v. Nistelrooy still has 3 to 4 good years left IMO. If I were him I'd go to Barcelona. Beach, disco's and pretty spanish women would be enough for me to play there.

Have you ever seen Manchester women??
I'll take the Catalan scene anyday!!!

LOL... Same here.
I was in Manchester last year and hated the City.

It is Funny how when you go to Pubs there, the Idol is Still "Eric Cantona" (even though he stopped playing years ago...), I am french and was criticizing him over his international Carreer (a disaster) and people got angry as if I was insulting GOD Himself

Here's how I think the Dutch team should look for Euro.
And I would field a 3-5-2 system:

GOAL: vd Sar
DEFENSE: Stam, Heitinga, Bouma
MIDFIELD: Robben, Davids, Sneijder, vd Vaart, vd Meyde
STRIKERS: Makaay, v. Nistelrooy

With this team they should make the semi-finals, at least, but I'm afraid thats as far as they'll go.

LOL !! Well, at least they're catching up. When Cantona was still playing for Leeds in 1991, the pubs' idol in Manc was still Georgie Best !!

Yep !! Me too...
But if Man-U says good-bye to Ruud, who do they bring in to score? Ole Gunnar Solskjaer can't do it anymore....

Thats what they brought Saha in for. They are probably shopping for 1 more striker since Saha cant do it all alone.

Either way you slice it Man United needs to rebuild and do so quickly because Chelsea has caught up with them and they will only get better with all the money they have.

2nd place in England plus a semi-final place in
the champions league.

Not too bad, I'd say
Yep, and it's worked pretty well for Man-U over the years. They spent money (including a brilliant job with Old Trafford) to make money in the early '90's and have seen the payoff both on and off the pitch...

Man U is now a Team on a decline... unless they shake up that squad.
When I see them Play nowadays, I do not See Lions on a Pitch but rather Old Cows.
Giggs, Butt, Nevilles, Keane should be left on the Bench.... their "Grit" is long gone... face it, they have won just about anything a Player can possibly win in a Club... What more can these Grandpa's expect?
ManU needs skilled young Lions!!
I remember when teams used to be affraid just by the thought they were going to play ManU.... now, even Millwall thinks they have a Chance!!

Fire Fergusson, he's done as well.

I like ManU, but not since Last Year...They have Changed...

The fact that Rio Ferdinand got suspended really hurt them on defence. I wouldnt say they are on the decline just yet, I'm sure they'll be back next year.

I really like the way that Ronaldo kid plays but Djemba has question marks.
