I think that Italy is being over looked. They have a great team and I think that they finally can score more than 1 goal a game. Recall that they were within 30 seconds of winning Euro 2000.

england is good too, with an excellent manager, but it will be difficult to beat a team like france or Italy when it comes down to it.

Agreed Kev, the last time I heard a player talk tough like that was a German international just before the Germans were thrashed 5-1 by England a few years ago.

I remember his exact words: "Germany just doesnt lose at home and especially not against a team like England".

choke-artists!!! how many countless time have they been favoured to win it? as i recall, flamed out in France 98 semi against Brazil in penalty kicks. Did,nt even participate in the 02 WC. And they had to go to a playoff to qualify for Euro 04. Holland "talented" yes. but BIG, BIG underachievers!! No disrespect, but vs England they would not be taken care of quickly. Have you been following this thread? I am not an English supporter, i also don't despise them. I just want to see some great matches.

My post if you were to scroll back was in reference to topcat's post about how England is all that. What exactly is was about i couldn't tell you. Whats behind me is not in front of me.

Also, i would love to see Holland win. They should have won in 2000, if only Holland new how to take penalties.
