Alex Rios Video...

Alex is a dick!! I have first row seats all the time and this guy doesn't know there are fans in the building!! When the visiting team makes the 3rd out in right....the guy always gives the ball to a fan.....but our hometown boy RIOS runs to the dugout with ball in hand!! Never gives it away!!
Sunday....a kid beside me gets his attention finally.....the kid is like 5 wearing a RIOS shirt and hat.....probably 250 bucks worth of RIOS wardrobe......he is screaming his name.....he looks right at him.....and instead of waving or nodding or winking.......spits towards him.........what an ignorant ass!!!
Oh and pretty boy got his pants dirty Sunday sliding into second...tried to dust them off for the 7 minutes he was standing at second.....then changed his pants next inning.....unreal!!!!!

Would any other team want this guy after he showed what kind of a character he is? Would it make a difference if he was doing really good and can help your team?
Sad to see that theres plenty of bad stories about this guy coming to surface now that this happened, probably tons more thats not posted here. But like i said before, as many that dislike him for his actions, theres probably more that wont think much of it.
I take that he is or was a pretty popular player on the Jays?
I'd be interested to know in the next games how many Rios jerseys/supporters there are
I hope his career goes downhill from here. Hope Karma really comes thru this time! lol. Get traded, sent to the minors, get cut etc etc

Well Thursday his infamous youtube episode happened....this was sunday with this kid....one would think he would be looking for ways to make up.....but it looks like he wants out..........but who would want him.......somebody............even that AVERY cock from hockey is still employed!!

For a time, I lived in the Four Seasons Yorkville. I watched the autograph hunters harass players night and day. You have no idea what they put up with. People bug them under any and all circumstances. Yes, it's part of the job, but you never know when you blow and lose it. This guy called Rios a bum because he ignored a "fan". You don't know the circumstances, you just see what the video shows.

I agree with everything you wrote. Examples of this that I've seen included watching someone follow Doug Gilmour into the bathroom to get an autograph and another person harass [pictures, autograph, money(!?)] Chris Bosh while he was in mid-bite at a restaurant. My favourite was when someone asked Bruce Smith for his autograph in a bathroom at a club and the All-Pro turned to him and calmly stated, "I've got my hand on my fucking cock!" I saw the u-tube video and that is definately edited. What happened before Rios started dropping the f-bomb? All I see is this guy heckling Rios and telling him to get out of Toronto. Rios had a bad day with 5 strikeouts and then attended a charity event. He must have had an earful of f-bombs from the jays management for doing so badly. It was probably more than just 1 kid, I bet a crowd would have formed shortly after, all of them wanting a signature as well.

Rios was 25 ft from his car. Where was the video of when he walked out of the building? Maybe he was heckled right at the building door, but I do not know what took place there?

From what I was told by some being there, nobody was allowed near the building where the players and their entourage were leaving and there was security. The guy who took the video started taping it once the crowd started to make their way to their cars in the valet area.crocket said:

Have you ever sat in the seats behind the plate?? In Toronto it's not bad...but I've been in Boston and New York and San Diego in the great seats...and believe me...what that guy said is nothing compared to what is said to these guys when they come to the plate in an opposing teams park..and if Rios was in Boston or New York...he'd be getting it way worse than that every time he walked to the plate...they don't hold back on "Their Own" in those places when you are playing like shit!!
I could accept the not signing, if he turned and apologized, if he said he was in a hurry and did not want to get trapped in a mob. It looked to me like there were about 50 men closing in, so that if he had stopped for the kid, they would have trapped him. But when he turned around and cursed everyone, that seemed to make it clear that the problem was that he was a jerk.
