You really don't want to know
Here' the thing that's perplexing me. He gets "outed' as being gay (which has been a rumor that’s dogged him for a long time)in Now magazine, he then vehemently denies the allegations referring to how funny he and “his partner” think it all is.

For that whole news cycle he keeps referring to his “partner”…yet all of a sudden in this Sunday’s Toronto Star puff piece on him, she is referred to as his wife. Funny, he never mentioned being married in any press clipping or bio, further more he’s yet to ever wear a wedding ring.

Makes you think.

He is rather smart for a 32 year old. AS for teh TTC chair that's what he is a chair person. There is no money to do anything with anyway.
FORD is thinking of putting his name into the Mayoral race - lookout!!!!!

the chairs of the committee are chosen by the mayor, that is the big reward for supportting the regime, in millers case all the chairs are of his mindset, or lack of it.
Rob Ford should not run for mayor, he could not win and if he runs council will not have a check and balance, and we will not have the comic relief

Giambrone running for mayor is analogous to, “the skipper of the Titanic applying to be admiral of the fleet.” (The Globe and Mail)

I see him as more of a Gilligan, than an actual skipper.

He’s not an idiot. His CV is actually quite impressive. More dangerous and troubling, is the fact that he’s a zealot. An NDP youth activist at the age of 15. Ran for the NDP feds in 97.

But more troubling than being a lifelong NDP ideologue, is the fact that he’s a ultra-green, anti-car, eco-nutbasket.

An anti-car zealot, shouldn’t be the TTC Czar. A rational Czar should work with drivers, and bikers to make the city work. The city has to move. Cars and trucks move it, with HELP from the TTC. Not the other way around.

Adam wants to save the planet, not save the city.

He seems to believe that by making it harder to drive in the city, we will all switch to the bus. That’s obviously crazy but how else do you explain his methods?

When every sane person believes we need to expand the roadways in a city growing as fast as Toronto, Giambrone is promoting every initiative he can to limit the number of lanes, to further slow things down. And kill off parking too, which is a city cash cow, or used to be.

Consider Liberty Village, the new residential area on former railroad lands between the Gardiner, and King St, and East of Dufferin to Strachn. It’s already big, with something like 3000 new units, and I’m told, another 5000 units still to come, with three new condo towers, and more row houses and lofts.

Some of those people will be going North to work, one might think, correct?

Instead of widening Landsdowne, a one time wide fast people mover out of that area, he deliberately NARROWED it. Unbelievable.

When outraged constituents especially Landsdowne residents who got screwed out of their street parking, asked, “Why?” He said the residents of Landsdowne ASKED him to push the agenda through - an outrageous lie - which resulted in nearly every house on Landsdowne placing a sign on their lawns pleading – Giambrone, don’t narrow Landsdowne. Anyone remember that? Landsdowne had a sea of yellow signs. On nearly every single house.

The little shitbird actually claimed he had personally door knocked on Landsdowne to talk over the plans, but not a single resident interviewed by media later on could remember a single visit from the lying prick, or knew anyone who had talked to him.

He’s doing the same thing to Roncesvailles, calling it “Sidewalk Improvement” but its just street narrowing under another name. And believe me, its hard enough to move around this area as it is.

Bike lanes everywhere. Narrowing St Claire to one lane in each direction (in a few spots) the six lanes of St Claire, into one car lane in each direction. Today they started talking about narrowing University Ave for bike lanes.

It’s crazy.

I heard the new streetcars are going to stop traffic in both directions. So passengers will be able to step off the new cars on both left and right sides of the cars and cross the street at a stroll. How much slower will that make a drive down a streetcar arterial street?

He’s crazy.

I’m having buttons made up. ANYONE BUT GIAMBRONE.

Enza the supermodel would be preferable.

The details make him a lying sleazeball, only looking out for himself.
Good for her to call him out.

Since he was the only left of centre candidate and the alternatives are unacceptable, I'll only vote for the local councillor and leave the mayor's ballot blank.

Even if you agree that his personal life is none of our buisness and does not affect his ability to lead how does he explain telling his girlfriend about the TTC fare hike in advance of a public announcement.

Oh c'mon now, he's screwing two women, lying to each of them, and what he did wrong was leak the TTC fare hike? As if it couldn't be seen coming back when Flattery's Action Plan stiffed TO, as if token speculators would make millions on the backs of honest passengers? For me that's a bit farther down the What He Did Wrong List. Not quite a Max Bernier.

At least we know he's not gay now, maybe bi.:D

He's got an uphill PR battle now regardless if people think this has nothing to do with his ability to run the city, there are many old hardliners that are probably turned off right now. He lied or at least withheld informaton in his relationship, so some people associate that to being untrustworthy in his job. The worst though is that he leaked a TTC increase to Lucas, again not a sign of a man with integrity, what else is he capable of leaking??? That's what a lot of people might be thinking now. You really are in a fish bowl when running for politics.

Notice at the end of the article he said Miller was like a God to him. lol

What's the big secret of TTC fare hike? Back in 2008, TTC wanted to raise the fare for 2009, but Mayor Miller vetoed it. I don't see how anybody couldn't see it coming for 2010.

How shameful. Next thing we'll find out he used prostitutes.
I think TERB should write a reprimanding letter to the editor, or something like that.

I think if you check you will find that confidentiality is not based on whether or not other people might guess that an event may occur.
