I'm not Keefe but I would have thought Hutchinson on Monday and Andersen on Thursday makes more sense. After all they're still playing against the same team.

Last season I said Matthews should be given consideration for MVP. If he is not at least a nominee for the MVP this season, there should be an RCMP investigation.

I said this about Matthews on March 1, 2020, post 733.
"Matthews for MVP. I actually saw him body an opposing player off the puck. He is now playing like he is 223 lbs. (His shots appear to be laser guided, just like the American tanks in Gulf War II.)"

It doesn't seem possible but his shot is even better this season. Plus, he is using the slapshot and one timer.

So, the Leaf -Canadien rivary continues to-night. The Habs are definitely the underdog. How can one compete against a team with not one, or two but three $11mm players?

BTW: How good is John Tavares? Just look at what he did for the career of Matt Moulson. But that was then, this is now.

Not to belabor the point but $10.9mm rounds to $11mm in my book. I don't deal in petty cash so $10.9mm is $11mm.

Didn’t see much of my favourite player in the 3rd period, was he ok ? Tavares and Spezza made great passes to set up a tip in by Kerfoot, another example of assists are often more skillful plays than the goal scoring.

The Leafs are playing well. I have to admit I’m not watching much in the way of games this year - but will have to watch the Edmonton tilts for sure.

Nice to have Campbell and Muzzin back. Matthews and Freddy are still out and Campbell will get the start tonight.

Aside from Campbell providing great goalkeeping, I think he will keep Freddy focused to stay on his A game.
All the added competition at the D position has pushed everyone to stay on their toes.
