You do the crime you do the time 10 years = 10 years not 4 years. Sentences to run consecutively in the artic. If you sponsor someone to come to Canada then you will be responsible for them. If they commit a violent crime after their prison term is up they will be deported back to whatever shit hole they came from. the main problem is with our immigration policy...a couple that lives a few doors down from my mother came to Canada from India almost 2 years ago...he was a doctor, and she was a radiologist...unfortunately, Canada fails to recognize any of their credentials, and they have been unable to find work in their field...they can no longer afford to be "left out" by the country that seemed to hold so much promise for them...they are leaving in the new year to the USA, where they both had several offers and are looking forward to finally starting their life.

I work in a professional office that is half populated by immigrants from other countries. Initially, they had to get their bearings, then find out how to get their credentials recognized in Canada. Some had to take courses, some had to write exams. But they did it.

When was the last time you can remember a Don Corleone type shooting up a shopping mall and killing a 15 year old girl who got in the way.

This girl was just beyond innocent as are so many other victims of black gang violence this year.

I didn't read or hear anywhere that the gunmen were black.
