3 Selke's and 3 Stanley Cup rings. Played 18 seasons. You can make an argument. But if I were voting I'd probably say no.100%? So you think Guy Carbonneau belongs in the Hall of Fame?

Vegas didn't give up very much but I don't think I would have gone after Eichel. He's toxic. And who knows how effective he will be after his surgery.Jack Eichel traded from BUF to VGK (Sorry Calgary Flames fans!)
Will undergo cervical disc replacement surgery this week, out for about 3months.
Anyone think he'll ever be the franchise player many thought he had the potential to be?
His potential upside in Vegas is massive if he can get physically healthy AND get his head straight. The head part I think will only come if he heals well physically. Otherwise, he likely winds up a bust.Vegas didn't give up very much but I don't think I would have gone after Eichel. He's toxic. And who knows how effective he will be after his surgery.
5 more years on a contract that has an annual cap hit of $10mm and an NMC in the last 4 years. IMHO he's not a $10mm player even when healthy.Vegas didn't give up very much but I don't think I would have gone after Eichel. He's toxic. And who knows how effective he will be after his surgery.
I didn't realize there was that much left on his contract. Yikes.5 more years on a contract that has an annual cap hit of $10mm and an NMC in the last 4 years. IMHO he's not a $10mm player even when healthy.
Vegas is gambling with house money. Maybe they can put him on LTIR if he isn't able to come back.I didn't realize there was that much left on his contract. Yikes.
To quote a member from the "Worst NHL Contracts" thread. Buffalo has/had some really bad contracts. The players mentioned below are in addition to the Jeff Skinner contract.I didn't realize there was that much left on his contract. Yikes.
The league just needs to ensure the Leafs play more games than other teams to keep it that way.... and the other 3 in the bottom 5
You must cry yourself to sleep after every Montreal game. The league just needs to ensure the Leafs play more games than other teams to keep it that way.
By points percentage Edmonton is in 3rd, Leafs are also bottom 5.
Snowflake: nice of you to be concerned but I think it would take a Habs fans to care that much. You must cry yourself to sleep after every Montreal game.
The Leafs are nowhere near the bottom 5 in the league in points percentage. What kind of fuzzy math are you looking at?The league just needs to ensure the Leafs play more games than other teams to keep it that way.

Absolutely correct sir, you just need to read the two posts ahead of that. The Leafs are nowhere near the bottom 5 in the league in points percentage. What kind of fuzzy math are you looking at?
That is all complete BS. Nobody is saying this. C'mon and give us some quotes to confirm your assertions. That of course precipitated an attack because it doesn’t fit the standard Leafs Nation narrative that the Leafs are the most dominant team in the NHL and are Stanley Cup favourites for the 4th year in a row; that the Leafs will probably go undefeated the rest of the year and every player on the Leafs is a top-10 player in the NHL, etc. I’m sure you’ve read all about it.
There’s no room to question that on this forum.
