I am going with Shane Pinto to win the Calder. He keeps improving at each level. Will be playing 2nd line minutes, a lot of opportunity as a rookie.
I like that outside pick. Good player. The Sens are definitely on the right track.

So Joel Quenneville out as Florida coach. Who do they hire as his replacement? I think Tortarella would be a mistake personally. I think you give Andrew Brunette a shot. He has experience as an assistant coach with two organizations as well as Director of Player Personnel. If I'm wrong who else should be considered for the job?

Maybe Brunette but I'd probably like a more experienced guy...Florida has started out 8-0, they got a shot at something big.

Babcock, Torteralla, Boudreau...

I wouldn't go with Babcock or Tortarella. Boudreau I'd consider but his teams' lack of playoff success would be a major red flag.

I'm waiting for our self-appointed hockey expert, Shack, to make his predictions. He'll probably come out of the bushes after the fact like he normally does. LOL

Both the Panthers and Hurricanes doing really well so far and both in the Eastern Conference so even qualifying for a wild card will be tough.

Panthers and Hurricanes look amazing so far.... I'm not counting out the Islanders in the playoffs - they've had a playoff run every year since Tavares left.

Panthers got or may get a new coach, so we'll see how they make out...wouldn't it be something if Freddie Anderson won some playoff rounds with the Hurricanes...

I'm still living in your head. You prove it every time you mention me for no apparent reason. Do you dream about me too?😘😂😂😂

You don't live in my head. You live on this board and piss off members so badly that they chase you away.

Show some balls and post some predictions. You don't because you know nothing about hockey.

BTW: Many members post many pics and many of them are much more explicit than my Maria pic.

Absolutely yes. Islanders are always in the hunt and well coached. But, imagine how much better if they had Tavares (just kidding!).

Andersen had a shut out against Boston last week, that could be a sign.
Andersen now also playing with a team that has a better defense.

As much as I like Rielly, I am very much aware of his weaknesses as well. However, I give him an A for effort. Even his teammates (as was I) were surprised that he signed the extension.

Rielly’s extension was a surprise and ‘big pick me up’ for Maple Leafs - Sportsnet.ca

Correctly predicting sports especially what might happen months later is far from easy. (Even the experts on radio and TV who do sports for a living often get it wrong.)

As an example, below are the results of a poll I started in September 2019.
Will Leafs Make the Playoffs?Edit
  • Yes
    Votes: 23 69.7%
  • No
    Votes: 7 21.2%
  • Maybe

The Leafs already have that perfected.
Indeed they do. In my lifetime they still haven't even made a SC final.
