You need fans to get the juice going
Personal carry-over grudges go a long way. Especially when you know that you have lots of opportunities for payback.

Yuh, first half of the game looked like it was going to end up a blow-out for the Buds. Then Ottawa popped a quick one against the run of play and the roof caved in. No commitment to keeping the area around Andersen clear of Black. On 1 goal, I counted THREE Ottawa forwards around the crease and 1 half-hearted Leaf D-man.

Leafs were playing the "fluid" style defense. Campbell should be in tomorrow.
No, Leafs were playing the defense they always play and Mathews was a solid -3. What I said in previous post is exactly what happened. It is the same crap we have been watching for a few years now as I also said.
What I said earlier was bang on. They will only start having success when the forwards start playing better in their own end which means hounding other teams forwards and not thinking like " oh, I'm only covering the Left D or Oh, I'm only covering the right d" LMAO, same shit over and over and over.
Frustrating thing is they have so much talent and speed but seem to be uncoachable.
Hope things turn around as it's so early but it is a short season as well.
Hey atleast they scored the first goal last night. They usually don't wake up until they are down by 1 or 2 goals.

Positional play doesn't not mean you run around 'hounding' anybody like a road hockey game...

Why are they going with 3 goalies?
Not to specifically answer your question, but Jack Campbell gets the start tonight, Aaron Dell backup.

I think the teams have expanded rosters which includes 3 goaltenders for COVID pre-cautions.

Teams usually don't like carrying 3 goaltenders...especially for practice because there's only two nets.

What was Marner thinking with seconds left ? That almost costed a win ! The line was dominant though and Marner had 3 points.

Leafs had a huge margin in territorial advantage. I didn't see the whole game, but from what I saw Nylander kept beating the Senators to loose pucks in the Sens' zone without breaking any eggs.

Yeah, but Willie spent far too much time floating around the slot.

Actually, from what I saw, a lot of those pucks he got to were behind the goal line or along the boards.

People can over analyze all they want, they're just looking to nit pick...so far after 3 games he's been flying out there.

The offense is flying, you can see they are quick. I am though a little concerned with the play of Anderson. Jets and Oilers game will be a good games for him and the team. Campbell played great.
