U - Man,

I have some
Cardinal Energy Ltd. (CJ.TO) I bought @ $5.35 that might move next week. I come into some bucks on Thursday and picked up some Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. (LME.V) for a buck a pop, but it will be some time before it is ripe. What do you think?

whats your thoughts on CMC.v? been eyeing it for some time.
The stock has been sliding since July. As the old saying goes : "Do not try to catch a falling knife". If you have to buy it, wait for the uptrend when the economy recovers.

Ohh, no! Permex closed at $0.23 today. Thank God I did not buy any. Just goes to show you, never buy any penny ante $17 million dollar stock.

I sold Laurion Mineral Exploration Inc. (LME.V) @ $1.07 ( 7% profit ) on Friday, it looks like it is going to go sideways for a while. A profit is a profit.

The car I drive is not exactly a Toyota, but I am planning to buy a Toyota when it becomes available. I am too cheap to buy a Tesla electric car so I will have to scrape by with a Toyota electric.

With the money I save not buying a Tesla I can multiply my savings by 3-5 times in a year. I have proved this over and over again. Example : Post #211 and #212.

Unemployed Man, are you still driving the 94 Chrysler Neon?

Ive been holding suncor since 2018 and dollar cost averaging, although I did not take advantage of the huge drop in 2020(wish I did, the fear got to me). however if all goes to plan I will have doubled my investment when it hits 60. I wont cash out my suncor cash account but will cash in my tfsa suncor. I dont think this is an over ambitious in light of current events and previous performance of the company.

There are many ways to invest. The slow, sure and methodical way is one. One of my big long term holdings is in :

TC Energy Corporation (TRP.TO) 71.67

Another way is to do short term speculative holds, I bought some :

Journey Energy Inc. (JOY.TO) 4.41

Asante Gold Corporation (ASE.CN) 1.68

InPlay Oil Corp. (IPO.TO) 3.67

when prices dipped this week.

so many different ways to invest, which either a) dont understand or b) not comfortable with that method.

I invest in things that make sense to me(utilities, natural resources, etc). I dont understand most of the tech world so I stay out of that. Im a long term holding investor which is building a dividend portfolio for a long term nest egg of dividend pay outs as a source of retirement passive income. I do have some index in my rrsp.

I like and am very ok with slow consistent growth. I like the downswings which seems to be levelled out by dollar cost averaging stock purchases.

when I see the realized gains of posters on the board its makes me envious, nervous and concerned since we all do things so very different. if I cashed out and took gains as much as the posters on here I would owe quite a large tax bill. not a fan of the tax man.

I do enjoy reading all the posts of you guys though.

Invest small amounts to test out and get comfortable with different methods, even if you just break even you would have learned.

As I have said, there are many ways to invest. The long term holds are your reserve funds. The short term gainers are your producers. Never be afraid to pay taxes, it only means you are making money.
