$90K a year is about double the median income, and in the very upper range of what constitutes a middle class salary. The fact you wouldn't personally be happy with it kind of dismisses the point that the vast majority of Canadians make much, much less.

No. I typically run mine at 19 or 20 because I prefer things to be on the cooler side, maybe because I'm fairly active. Heat and humidity give me headaches, lowers mental acuity and makes me feel sluggish. 19 to 20 is perfect for me, and doesn't require two layers of clothing.
