22C degrees for me all day and all night.19 or 20 c I like it a bit cooler
Is this because you are trying to save energy? Because you are wasting all the energy you saved when the heat runs for 45 minutes to get from 15 back up to 22. Just pic the temp you like and set it to permanent hold.22 daytime (7:30 am start) , 15 night time (10 pm set back)
Not according to this:Is this because you are trying to save energy? Because you are wasting all the energy you saved when the heat runs for 45 minutes to get from 15 back up to 22. Just pic the temp you like and set it to permanent hold.
No. I typically run mine at 19 or 20 because I prefer things to be on the cooler side, maybe because I'm fairly active. Heat and humidity give me headaches, lowers mental acuity and makes me feel sluggish. 19 to 20 is perfect for me, and doesn't require two layers of clothing.I presume that those of you who set it at below 20, are trying to save money, and need to wear two layers of clothing in order to feel comfortable?
Nope, just more comfortable when it's cooler in the house.I presume that those of you who set it at below 20, are trying to save money, and need to wear two layers of clothing in order to feel comfortable?
for me it's the savings and the comfortI presume that those of you who set it at below 20, are trying to save money, and need to wear two layers of clothing in order to feel comfortable?
That wouldn't have worked with my ex when she was going through menopause. When I'd complain about her lowering the thermostat to 18 she'd just snap at me, saying "put on a sweater, and use an extra blanket..."Wow... am I the only wimp around here? In the cold season, I usually set my thermostat at 24... maybe 23 at night.
If it ever gets to 21 inside when I forget to turn the heat back on, it really starts to bother me.
And someone is always home during the day, so I can't set my thermostat down during the day either.
You guys who like it at <20 are really brave!
