Canada a mexico should create a free trade agreement that us separate form the MCUSA, but logistics might be difficult with the USA.
Regardless, what would such an agreement bring to each other?

We then become a market of 170m. We can cut FL off the citrus trade. The USA out of the lumber trade give Mexico preferential access to Steel and Aluminum over the USA. Sell them LNG etc. It gives us both more bargaining power with the USA. We now become a market of 170m.

Canadian companies and Canada have been stupidly short sighted in betting everything on the USA market, when China and others are overtaking US.
It is a self goal.

Nah, China and Asia is where the action is going to be.

BYD cars could sell for $20,000 in Canada.

The threat of annihilation is exactly what is needed to contain Russia.
People like Putin don't respond to anything other than force.
Thats utter nonsense. Russia has massive borders with non NATO nations. Its only NATO that keeps poking and prodding the bear. I think Chinas philosophy of mutual security is the only valid one. The problem is, if properly implemented it will result in massive reductions of military spending. 🤷‍♂️

That's because the bear that tries to sneak in at night and trash the place needs to be contained.
No evidence of that whatsoever lol. How long did Finland live peacefully next to Russia? Did Russia oppress it after they defeated it in WWII? Did Russia seek violent retribution for Finland participation in the siege of Leningrad killing hundreds of thousand of Russians?

Annihilation of Moscow and St Petersburg in exchange for
evaporation of London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Vienna, Warsaw,
Munich, Milan, Manchester, Madrid, Oslo, Copenhagen, Brussels,
Stockholm, Wsashington, New York, Boston, Toronto, Montreal.......
doesn't seem to be a bad bargain for Russia.

There are of course a lot of other cities in Russia not on the list.
By comparison to cities in the civilized west they are mostly shitholes
scattered in a vast wasteland harbouring backward societies. I predict
Russia taking out a small beautiful city like Bordeaux would cause
enough misery to convince France to give up defending Ukraine.

Sheer numbers don't always work. I'm not sure that Canada and Mexico offer enough complementary trade to really have a very successful trade agreement. Both Canada and Mexico also have large surpluses with the U.S.

I forget. Are you the guy who wants Canada to have 70 million people?

China makes more sense. I was speaking of Mexico.

Until you realize that the entirety of European Russia where the majority of the Russian population lives is a target and it is not such a good bargain.
Who gives a fuck about Siberia?
