Canadians love socialism to much. It’s like Palestinians loving terror. Unsuitable for adoption.
Still waiting for one of you right wing clowns to name one wealthy nation with no significant socilist programs in its makeup. Tariffs are Sociliast to the core!!! Borderline commie. It rewards companies for being inefficient and sloppy. 👍

Trump cannot be trusted. He promised to hold off for 30 days on all tariffs to Canada
Guess we have to blame it on Melania. Maybe she ordered him to sleep in the other bedroom and he woke up on the wrong side of his bed this morning!!

At least we now know Jim Haack's address.

Who are mixing up social measures with socialism. By the way, socialized healthcare is present in all developed countries except the US. Are they are socialist country?
What I mean is unless United States is going to treat Canada like Puerto Rico and not let Canadians vote, annexation would not be good for Republican party

Melania is paid for all public appearances with Trumpy. No touching allowed.
I understand that Trump asked Melania to accompany him to the Super Bowl and in response she sent him her sex video with Justin with the message "See me suck his Canadian steel-hard dick! It's so massive and long that only 25% fits in my sweet, little mouth!!!".....

And the rest is history....

It is doubtful that the tariff on steel will have any other effect but to increase inflation in USA.

The American steel manufacturers are not able to produce the steel the car industry needs, hence the import from Canada.

We will see if it reduces the amount of steel from Canada.

The aluminum or aluminum is produced in Canada because of the low hydro cost here. USA is already importing hydro from Canada. Canada should slap an export duty on energy.

The most basic point is that the issue of long term trade policy is constitutionally the prerogative of Congress, not the president.

Trump can't simply have Stephen Miller or a 23 year old intern scribble bullshit EO's that claim to re write the US constitution. It's stupid. The judges are already making comments in their judgments that Trump is wasting the courts' time with sad, incompetent nonsense.

He's too old, senile, decrepit and dumb to be president. He should not be there. It's like having a 90 year old in a wheelchair in the Olympic 100 metre sprint event. It would be sad, if it were not so scary.
EOs are for emergency situation. He can't use EOs as a way to by-pass congress. To make it worse, he's openly been bought out by oligarchs.

It's ok to have different policies, but right now he is a threat to national security and the functional health of the country.

EOs are for emergency situation.
No.
Executive Orders can be to clarify how the executive will proceed within the scope of what Congress has legislated.
Doesn't have to be emergencies.

To use the immigration example, an executive order to prioritize deportations on people with violent criminal histories and de-prioritize people who have been living in the country for over 10 years are just executive explaining how it will use its not-unlimited resources to follow the instructions from congress to deport people who are subject to deportation.

He can't use EOs as a way to by-pass congress. To make it worse, he's openly been bought out by oligarchs.
And considers himself one.

It's ok to have different policies, but right now he is a threat to national security and the functional health of the country.
Indeed.

To be honest I don't give a shit.

All I care is about is Canada and the stupid tariffs he's calling.

Trump gave an interview before the ballgame, where he doubled down on annexing Canada.
Just to show you how fucked the USA is they actually cheered one of the most putrid maggots on the planet {TRUMP] at the Super Bowl. Trump is probably the most hated sicko on the planet and the USA is rapidly becoming the most hated country on the planet.

Trumputin has just made good on his Super Bowl Tarrif announcement.

Any one living in Canada still supporting this POS can you please leave and go live in the US, thank you.

US President Donald Trump has just signed an executive order to formalize the imposition of a 25% tariff on all steel and aluminum imports into the United States.

The country that will be most affected by this measure is Canada, which is the largest supplier of steel and aluminum to the United States, followed by Brazil, Mexico, South Korea and Vietnam, according to the American Iron and Steel Institute . Canada is also a major supplier of aluminum to the United States, followed distantly by the United Arab Emirates, Russia and China.

Today, I'm simplifying our steel and aluminum tariffs so that everybody understands what that means. It's 25 percent, with no exceptions or exemptions. And that's every country , Donald Trump said at the White House.

Speaking to reporters from the Oval Office, he also confirmed that he would introduce so-called reciprocal tariffs in the next two days. Imports into the United States of products from a third country will be hit with the same tariffs as those on American products in that country.

Asked about the prospect of countries deciding to impose retaliatory measures against the United States in response to these tariffs, Donald Trump said he did not mind.
