The reality is that if the broader black population does not succeed starting in grade school, there's no overlay solution that's going to do much for the population.I think there should be better systems. Clearly it hasn’t helped the broader black population. Everything the democrats did just made it worse except for a select few. Even afirmitive action for Ivy leagues. They found most of the blacks admitted were just rich black kids from Africa.
Come up with solutions to make society better. Instead of sitting there calling people racist.
I had been generally supportive affirmative action at some level, but it became a quota system in all areas and echelons of American life. Standards were tinkered with to allow for DEI successful outcomes. Even all the big, institutional DEI programs and their employment ranks became a bizarre manifestation.
On the flip side, in the recent past there were labor unions that were as white as could be with minorities and women left on the outside.
