"I've said for a long time that if we you were going to take out the carbon tax you should replace with something that is at least if not more effective," Carney told reporters.

Carney said effectiveness is not just about lowering emissions but also about "ensuring that Canadian households are made whole in terms of their finances."

Just a political word salad at this point...And Justin is out there ''campaigning?...Defending his disastrous policy.
It's only disastrous because ignorant loudmouths like you and PP are constantly slagging it without admitting that most people come out ahead after the carbon rebate... but let's not mention that, shall we. If people are dumb enough fall for "axe the tax", I guess we're just as stupid as Americans voting for the deranged criminal Drumpf, with his "They're eating the dogs!"

He seems like a capable guy and quite charismatic in that Daily Show interview. But he’s only gonna be PM until an election is called. Anyone who thinks otherwise is living in a dreamland. Jesus Christ himself wouldn’t be able to shake off the Trudeau stink and rescue the party.

The best a good Liberal leader can do is ‘put up a good fight’ and minimize losses. Organize the Libs into a competent opposition party. It might be the difference between 4-5 years of PP or a decade.

Mélanie Joly was impressive in her CNN debut. I'll also add that she's not bad looking at all. I think Trump might take the bait if she's put in front of him instead of throwing up a little in his mouth when looking at Danielle Smith.

If you are trying to say here has never ridden in a limo that would be false.

The limo had to be secured by a credit card. They know. It's probably Carney realizing after the fact how bad it looks, and getting the limo company to cover for him.
Hey butler, for once let's go with the REAL FACTS and not just speculation on on your behalf.

The prompter was just one glitch at the launch. Before the doors opened, a white limousine outfitted to look like a Rolls-Royce pulled up in the parking lot as journalists waited outside.

The driver said he was picking someone up, but didn't know who. After about five minutes facing questions and video cameras, the driver slowly backed out of the lot.

The limo company later told CBC News they have no idea who booked the vehicle and all they had was the requester's phone number and they repeatedly didn't pick up.

Carney's campaign said they had nothing to do with it and had no idea who did.

So, the fact is that Carney did NOT ARRIVE in that limo as alleged and had zero to do with it!!

Let’s break this down, because what’s happening in Canada right now is beyond comprehension. Mark Carney—yes, the globalist banker who’s never been elected to any public office—is about to be appointed as the next Prime Minister of Canada. Not elected. Not chosen by Canadians. Just… handed the keys to the country by a Liberal Party in complete chaos. And here’s where it gets even crazier. If Carney becomes Prime Minister, he can’t even set foot in the House of Commons. Why? Because he doesn’t hold a seat as an MP. So, while the elected representatives of the Canadian people are debating in Parliament, the so-called leader of the country—Mark Carney—is going to be running Canada from… an office somewhere? Think about how insane this is. A Prime Minister who has zero democratic legitimacy, making decisions for millions of Canadians without ever standing before the House of Commons to defend his policies. This isn’t just undemocratic—it’s dangerous. And it’s a complete insult to every Canadian who believes in democracy. How did we get here? It’s simple. The Liberal Party knows they’re collapsing in the polls, and instead of facing Canadians in an election, they’re trying to buy time by installing a leader without a mandate. Do you feel represented? Do you feel like this is democracy in action? Mark Carney is not the solution to Canada’s problems. He’s the poster boy for everything wrong with this broken system. So let me ask you this—how can we trust someone to run this country when they’ve never been elected, can’t even show up in Parliament, and represent no one but themselves and their elite friends? The solution isn’t more backroom deals and unelected leaders. It’s an election. Right now. Let Canadians decide. Because this? This is NOT democracy.

I agree the Liberals are toast, no matter who leads them. But because expectations for the Liberals are so low, any Liberal leader who prevents total annihilation and reasonably salvages the party will be seen as a hero.
