Everyone has gotta be willing to put their most valuable chips on the table, its pointless doing it with products they can soruce readily elsewhere. So that means electricity in Ontario and Quebec, Oil Alberta, maybe some metal products in Quebec and Ontario Perhaps Natural Gas from BC. IT also depends on the approach, no embargos and export tax. So it makes the commodity available, but imposes cost. Its possible the US can replace some of AB oil with oil from their SPR, as well. In which case its a good time to insist the Feds fund an SPR of at least 100m bbls

You hit the nail on the head - thank god there are some intelligent people that understand the absolute clusterfuck that is Trudeau and company.
GDP per capita is down 40% compared to the USA, since 2015, and the civil service is up 42%, our population has grown by 14%. The poor have literally been crippled by the Liberals.
People have no clue about economics. I worked in finance for decades and it is so sad to hear my friends who think PP is evil while Trudeau have fucked Canada big time.
Debt interest at all levels of government is now approaching $100 billion a year, which does zero to provide any social programs.
That's another thing that pisses me off, Freeland talking about the GDP debt ratio, it is an absolute disgrace that the media is not reporting or calling her out on it.
Any accountant would rip it to shreds, it is disgraceful and deliberately misleading to the Canadian people.
