Now the election is over, Judge Merchan might want this to just fade away. That's what I have been reading from even less histrionic media outlets.
This forum could get very boring if we cited the Judge's commentary. Judge Merchan actually is entitled to provide personal commentary about the "convicted", but it also shows how he feels about Trump. In this situation, it probably would have been best for him to not engage in anything that would put his words in the political arena.
