and also some irrelevant observation that
declining birth rate is caused by more and more people not wanting to be in a relationship
The misogyny movement is turning off women.
The Internet / cell phone has given people to many choices. Which has created a sickness of indecisions among people there is a clinical term for this.
Dating apps created to many disillusioned people.
Then you have the cost of living anywhere. Low pay.
Sunday shopping didn't help either.
I have seen more women make more money then men.
Gold or money reveals the evil of people.
To many cuckolds men out there.
Many products don't last forever
University or college debt.
Drugs everywhere.
Gov't laws don't help men.
Most people have no discipline about themselves hence why they date so many people.

With the divorce rate so high why bother getting married and losing all you money in a divorce. It makes college debt look like a joke.

Women don’t need men for support anymore. They don’t need men for their money or bank accounts or credit cards like back in the days of your grandparents and great grandparents.
Because of that, women are simply not settling or don’t see the point in being in a relationship when they pay 50/50 and still do 100% of the housework and child raising. Marriage benefits men now. Not women. It is basically voluntary subjugation for women to get married.

True for some men, they really don't pitch in with the work. But these are also the women who really regret it when they're in their late 30's and trying to settle down and have kids.
My reason right there. Have had plenty of great relationships with fantastic women but each one had something(or I did) that made a lifetime relationship improbable. NOT being super picky or anything, just things like one of us being a morning or night person or having very different tastes in music. For example I like having music on throughout my home most of the day. Just low volume, but full, rich sound. One woman was really really bothered by this but needed to have citypulse news on 24/7 ... repeating the SAME stories every 20 minutes. I know it seems petty but those everyday things can get on one's nerves.
I'd hate to have married or had kids with any one of them and/or having to have split my assets and/or support her and kids that were just part-time and all the drama that entails.
Having said that, the online dating scene has declined markedly in the last 7-8 years. As others have said, way too many choices leading to overwhelming paralysis by analysis for women. And all the sheer volume (hundreds of replies) makes even the least desirable women become deluded as to their standards they could attract. And hypergamy is a huge issue no matter how high value/attractive a man you are. The FOMO is so strong, it is irresistable to many women knowing there just might be an even better guy one swipe away...
Yeah, the hypergamy thing is on hyper drive. Will it lead to extinction?
Then there is also the "what's mine is mine and what's yours is mine" built in software package.
To be fair, not saying all men are doing enough housework, child rearing, etc.

Hypergamy - women desire relationships but only with the top percentile of men. They get pumped and dumped by those men under the delusion that they will somehow be anything more than one of the countless sidechicks in his roster. So while women are not in relationships any longer, they're racking up bodies in historically unprecedented numbers.
Gender roles - the incentive for men to build a relationship with a woman was to eventually have a family with her. But women don't want kids; they make their own money now and prefer pets & hot girl summers. So men have no reason to invest in provision & protection of women any longer. It's literally every man and every woman for themselves. The only beneficial interaction between men and women now are purely sexual flings with no strings attached.
Finance - men stand to lose too much in relationships. Divorce can destroy a man's finances, but marriage is not even necessary for a catastrophic downfall. A woman in a basic relationship can accuse a man of abuse and suddenly his entire life is on the line. The risk is too great as the legal system is weaponized against men.
Technology - the birth control pill freed women from the chains of their own biology. Everything mentioned above stems from the birth control pill, the dishwasher, the washer/dryer, fast food, and so on. If it wasn't for the pill, women would not be sleeping around. It it wasn't for the industrial revolution, women would still be birthing kids to work on the farm. If housework didn't become relatively automated, women would still be in the kitchen hand washing dishes and doing food prep. Without modern technology, traditional relationships would have remained intact.
I don't mind these trends on an individual basis. Personal freedom is important and I prefer the peace of not being in a committed relationship. However, I do think these trends are likely disastrous for the long term maintenance of a civilization.
