I don’t think so either, but they have to do something, so Guerrero is not the singular threat in the lineup that can be easily pitched around. And Hernandez would be a suitable talent for that.

If this team has any chance in the next couple of years to avoid a full rebuild and to just buy themselves out of this mess… extending Guerrero was priority one. And now I feel like it’s too late. agree that it all comes down to good management and shatkins is not elite management
so it makes more sense to spend money on great management than players
