Correct.
And Elon's products have not changed or impacted our lives in any significant manner.
Our lives will be exactly the same as it is today if there were no EVs, which are still a novelty.
I showed you how long it took Gates and Job's products to affect people and you completely ignored the fact that Musk's progress is trending much faster in comparison.
14% of all vehicles globally and growing,
You don't think that has not already changed things?

I get that you are jealous or maybe just don't like Musk but the more you scramble to make excuses why he is not brilliant and has contributed to change things in many ways, the more you seem ignorant.

Technology development is exponential.
Gates and Job started with nothing.
Yet their products changed lives.
Battery technology, having a touch screen tablet inside etc is nothing new.
In any case the first roadster rolled out in 2006.
Yet 18 years hence our lives are not taken over by EVs.
We are still using gasoline vehicles.
Elon is a con.

Cannot take the Musky guy called Elon seriously!! AI disagreed with Musk's attempts to turn AI into a greedy Corporation.
AI's main goal is to make their Technology available at affordable rates for all humans.
No doubt Elon just like Trump is once again going to fail in his latest fourth reframed Court battle fight with AI:

Elon Musk wanted an OpenAI for-profit

Timeline of events
  • November 2015: OpenAI started as a nonprofit, which Elon questioned
  • December 2015: OpenAI publicly announced
  • Early 2017: Our research progress led us to realize we would need billions of dollars for the compute to build AGI
  • Summer 2017: We and Elon agreed that a for-profit was the next step for OpenAI to advance the mission
  • Fall 2017: Elon demanded majority equity, absolute control, and to be CEO of the for-profit
  • September 2017: Elon created the public benefit corporation called “Open Artificial Intelligence Technologies, Inc.”
  • September 2017: We rejected Elon's terms because giving him unilateral control of OpenAI and its technology would be contrary to the mission
  • January 2018: Elon said OpenAI was on a path for certain failure unless we merged into Tesla.
  • February 2018: Elon resigned as co-chair of OpenAI
  • December 2018: Elon told us to raise “billions per year immediately or forget it”
  • March 2019: We announced the capped-profit OpenAI LP, within the non-profit
  • March 2023: Elon started his OpenAI competitor, xAI

Gates and Jobs' "inventions" were nothing new either. They both started with stealing the Xerox GUI.
Global critical systems are run by Unix not Windows or Mac OS. Unix was around 16 years before the first Windows OS and 20 years before the first Mac OS. Guess which OS runs most of the Internet today?

Your excuses keep failing.

Apple and Microsoft revolutionized personal computing and made the workforce many times more productive.
Apple pretty much changed the way we communicate.
Facebook changed the way we connect.
Google changed the way we look for information.
Elon's companies did nothing.
Our lives will be exactly the same if he did not exist.
So keep up with your mental gymnastics trying to deny the truth.

Your failure at making an argument is legendary.
You expect Musk to accomplish what it took other decades to do overnight and without their own ideas.

If it wasn't for Musk do you seriously think car manufacturers would be investing in EV's and pushing the world towards them?

In 50 years from now who do you think will be credited for that?

I guess you liked him better when he supported the Democrat party so now you have to attack his accomplishments and character because he dumped them.
I get it. You don't want to just admit that.

But keep arguing if you want...just makes it easy for me to make you look foolish.

The first personal computers were developed in the 70s.
The first smartphones in the 90s.
The first social media, in the early 2000s.
The first search engines in the 90s.
On the other hand:
The very first EVs rolled out in the 1800s.
The first resuable space vehicles were developed in the 70s.
So which product(s) have been in the market longer?
Elon took something preexisting for decades and has still not accomplished a smidge of what Gates, Jobs and Zuckerberg have done.
As I said already, nice mental gymnastics.
You should start your own Olympic team for the sport.
