You kept on harping on and on about the Crack Pipe as well as Tampons that you presumed to belong to me.
In spite of telling you that they were not mine you kept lying that they were. So you were lying about it, and even instructing me to "clean up"!!
Admit it......you were lying!!
Presuming is not lying.

And, what is his mental state? He's old. But he still seems sharp, just lower energy. That doesn't mean he couldn't do the job....And Trump is only 2 years younger....You really have no clue what you're talking about, just parroting right-wing smears. As mentioned, if you look at the timeline, he got COVID. That could certainly sap the energy out of even a younger person. Maybe he realized he wouldn't win, and it was more important to keep Trump out of power than his political ambition.

I think that whole "desperate" feeling is coming from MAGA, who thought they would just sail into November and win. Now that she's kicking Trump's ass, they are trying to pull out all the stops to smear her. And, it really is pretty pathetic to watch. The whole Trump campaign reeks of desperation, he trying to find a good nickname for her and still failing.
This is not about "could" or "couldn't". It's about a party that forced their leader out once they were exposed for hiding his mental state. Leading up to that debate there was no mention or rather admittance, about him having the faculties to continue.

"Kicking Trump's ass"???
You would think that with everything that has been thrown at Trump and having the majority of the media and celebrities on her side she would be far ahead, but they're essentially tied at the moment. Then factor in respondents who just don't want to say they favour Trump to avoid being harassed by the bully left, I would say she needs to be worried.

So in other words she followed her boss's orders/wishes and voted. Imagine had she voted against Biden and the party to please the Republicans. Hmmmm, do you know of any VP who has ever had to do that besides Pence on Jan. 6th.?
I understand why Kamala doesn't want to be seen in any light that would be considered critical of the Biden Administration. However, she needed to be more prepared for this simple question and have a better answer.

You and others might want to say she is a "new way forward". This "very friendly" interview leaves us thinking she is merely Biden 2.0.

PS- Don't blame the messenger that the Biden record doesn't seem to help her. Don't get upset, but this clip will be run over and over in battleground states by the Trump campaign.

He certainly met a lot of very rich and powerful friends along the way. And I'm sure they helped him out - and vice versa. That's the same thing without the dirty words.
I thought the only person he's ever worked for is Peter Thiel.
He then moved to his own venture capital firms closely linked with Thiel.
His campaign money comes from Thiel (and the Thiel network of tech billionaires).

He's their guy in the room.

Oh, I'm sorry, I didn't realize you were there and have first-person perspective. Quit the bullshit. Again, no evidence this happened. Even if the party leadership wanted him gone, he could have fought back. He's the incumbent. He was still fairly popular, and was a foil against Trump. It doesn't mean he would have won. But, just because someone is pressuring you doesn't mean you give up. Again, it sounds like Biden put country ahead of his own ambition. That is something Trump would NEVER do.
As long as you define "forced" to mean "persuaded", then it all works.

This is the problem with this debate.
At what point is persuasion "coercion"?

What arguments were employed?
What pressure?

We won't know for years, I suspect, and disentangling the truth from all the self-serving versions of the story people are going to tell will be difficult.

I stand corrected. He's just linked to Thiel.

He'll basically do whatever Thiel tells him to do - at least until Vance builds up his own power base.

I don't think Biden could be "forced" to do much of anything. After all, he IS the president.

OTOH, after a half-dozen or so unpleasant private chats about his "limitations" and some incentives being offered, it gets hard to say "no".

She probably IS a younger, browner version of Biden. But most Dem voters are perfectly happy with that.

The issue becomes ducking all the bullshit allegations about "the open border" and "inflation" that the GOP have fabricated to piss at her.

Vance doesn't strike me as able to build up his own power base.
He is Thiel's puppy and at best could be bought out by a rival.

As far as I can tell, his views are aligned with Thiel and company, so he might become more independent from Thiel over time and with some power, but he isn't going to stray far.

As I said, it depends on what you mean by "forced".

Compare to what's going on with Trudeau.
There is no legal mechanism to force him out or require a leadership vote.
But they are pushing to pressure him.

If at some point he decides to step down after lots of back and forth and arguments and discussions about what is good for the party...
was he forced?

Because the presumption was that it was yours.
That's how presumptions work.
In that case you make too many presumptions and no substance in expressing yourself. Fake as they are. Finally we can agree on that!!
