Makes you wonder, did he plan this? If not, then really, WTF was he thinking to walk out on a bill like that? The fuck?

Unrelated to the charge would like to hear what the argument was about in the first place that caused him to walk out.

I was in a restaurant once and the low-class idiot at the table next to me started complaining to the waiter when he got the bill that it was too expensive. Waiter just said, "Sir, our prices are clearly printed on the menu, you didn't have to order that if you thought it was too expensive." This realisation actually seemed to calm the stupid fucker down.

Not sure what that has to do with anything, also the name of the accused is William Elvia. Maybe you were thinking it was something more..... ethnic?

I accidentally did a dine and dash with a client a few months back. We ordered from a popular restaurant on a Saturday night. We got there and it was too busy so decided to take it back to my place. We waited at the bar and the wait staff came around the front of the bar and gave us our food. I guess she thought we had already paid and we had been at the bar for like 25 mins just chatting. So we were not paying attention. We walked out and realized when we got home

I went back after the date and asked for the manager. Explained and paid the bill with large tip. I was so embarrassed but it was the right thing to do. My karma would be out of wack if I didn’t. LOL.

Plus it is my favourite place. They have awesome food. I mean I made a grand that night, the least I could do is pay a $100 food bill.

When someone flexes like that and utters "i will knock you the fuck out" watch out for a sucker punch. most guys who says that will do it when you're not alert. Witnessed one guy went on someones face at a bar in richmond hill once...said exactly the same..."say one more word and i will knock you the fuck out." We were not involved but my friend who is a boxing trainer told the guy...if they want to fight...his gym was across the street and he can lace them up and see what they got....the tension decreased significantly...LoL.

From my own experience, only pussies utter threats, either verbally or by pointing a weapon that they have no intention of using. The same applies to people who threaten to call the cops. They are weak, but at the same time they try to be intimidating, because they assume that other people are as weak as they are.

In my neighbourhood, I see a lot of 'passive-aggressive' fights, where two people diss each other from a safe distance, trying to provoke the other to throw the first punch. Generally the spectators are silently laughing at both of them.

I did see a decent parking lot fight recently, between two Black men in their twenties. The smaller guy was trolling a very large dude, who clocked him with one punch, then walked away. I gave the big guy a bottle of cold water, (I'd never met him before), as he was walking away, because he had exercised sufficient restraint, and I wanted to help him 'cool down' so he didn't do something stupid while he was pumped with adrenaline. The two guys walking with him said 'bro, take the water', and he did.

It's "Alvia" , what more ethnic can it be? POS looks Filipino to me.
How do you know he's "Filipino"? Was the video taken in the Philippines? Why can't he just be a "Canadian" in your eyes?

Oooh, apologies for misspelling the name of the accused. I didn't open the video and was reading the closed captioned text, where they spelled his name as "Elvia".

My comment was toward the other poster when he mentioned "Brampton", I think they were expecting a name from a different ethnic group.

The name Alvia may have middle eastern origins. As far as assault and uttering threats, I suspect the crown may drop charges eventually. This guy and his wife have lost their reputation and had to pay up in the end. They walked out because they thought they could get away with not paying the bill.
