America is a compassionate nation, but at some point, this shit gets old. Why should the people of Springfield, Ohio have to be inundated with migrants because Haiti is a gang-ridden failed state? Why is that their problem? Sorry but that’s the blunt question that needs to be asked. We’ve got Americans in the streets with nothing to eat, elderly folks pinching pennies to buy groceries, and we’re funding people from other nations to come squat in our towns and communities? The dam is going to break at some point.

What is there to call out?
You just said that her statement was true.

-- Wait, looking again, I think what you were trying to say is that while her statement about war zones is true, "combat zones" are classified differently and there ARE people there.

I wouldn't have objected to the moderators asking to clarify that, but I can see why it didn't happen.

HaRRIS

Because this is an opinion on what Trump will really do.
Not something the moderators will fact check when he is right there to deny it.

Again, since Trump is right there to rebut it, not something the moderators would intervene on.

Donald Trump is right there to rebut.

Assuming that's true, I would have been fine with them stepping in to correct that.

It seems to me that the moderators did their best to limit their fact checks to egregiously false simple statements that don't require interpretation rather than litigating every shade of nuance of what the two sides said.
You make good points but to ask opponent to correct a lie is wasting their valuable speaking time when it is authoritative if the moderaters do it but, yes, it is hard to decern what partial, or even full lies, should be called

I believe they called out Trump 5 times and not Harris once

I loved they called out the migrants eating cats (trump through in dogs) internet hoax and panicked by calling the mayor of the town ( I think it was) a liar

The Nancy Pelosi lie is the hugest lie of the night and can be easily rebuked as she did not have the power to call in national guard, they missed it and it was a lie they should have been prepared for as he has said it before

This concern mother has three tickets to the Taylor Swift concert in Toronto on November 15th. It was a special gift for her daughter who turns 13 that day. Her daughter has been a Taylor Swift fan forever, but because of Taylor’s endorsement of Kamala, she now has those tickets up for sale. Listen to her message to
@taylorswift13

Yeah, narrcisistic mom putting her politics ahead of her young daughter's innocent fun. Even admits Taylor Swift is not likely to hear it but "it's worth a shot". That's real family values right there! I'm sure that her daughter will never forgive her for it.

Probably already resents her attention whore mom by "helping"her with her makeup! Who else would have drawn the mismatched Snidely Whiplash moustache eyebrows on her cheek implanted over-the-hill-but-not-accepting-it face tightened face... :ROFLMAO: 🤡

At some level, it would cut into Chinese profit margins. Over time, it would encourage producers in Asia and likely Mexico to compete in those sectors.
Ok, I agree! DAMMIT!!!

There is a very simple economic rule that many people (and politicians) often ignore. If you want less of something, tax it. In this case, we want less Chinese exports into the U.S.
True but will this not cause more inflation? How will Trump bring down the inflation he's trying to paste on the Dems?

So in short, China and U.S. consumers would both pay the tariffs.
Yes, they will but are they giving any tax $$$$$ to the US government? Is it not just the consumer who will be if they buy the Chinese products??

I think this is one of these not so great counterarguments that seems to get lost in the emotions against Trump. The European Union is contemplating tariffs against China. I believe the Biden Administration left many or all of Trump's previous tariffs in place.

I know one powerful group that opposes tariffs..........Wall Street. Believe me, they have a lot of highly-paid economists on staff to back up their POV.
Trump will bring in much more tariffs than a Harris administration. The only tariffs Harris would more than likely bring in would have to do with the EV industry. Also, Biden nor Harris pitch tariffs and tax revenue like your cult leader tries to do.
