Because your examples don't rely on physical capacities. Brain wise we are all equal. I also don't mind doing yoga with a transgender nor having them going to all women school. Transgenders are not dangerous or deviant and have the right to live a normal life. When it comes to sport, even with the hormones and operations, you cannot change the bones, the muscle ect.

Some TS are really hot too: I follow this guy on Ig. Used to be a woman
Its ok in some cases but sharing bathrooms? Maybe you're ok with it but some women are not. You also have to consider minors...a line has to be drawn somewhere but yeah...theyvare people to and they have rights and should fight for those rights...but don't push people to believe they're a women...

That's the thing tho. It's assuming that being transgender is being deviant and perverted. I am a lot more concerned about my sister hitting the public pool with all the look of the men out there watching her 14yrs old body, than a transgender in a cabin bathroom. There are pervert everywhere hun.

Like I said...I won't argue that you feel comfy...you're representing yourself...I'm sure out of 10 women....one won't be...what about them? Are we gonna only consider someone's feeling of identity over feeling of uneasiness? Why can't we aept trans as trans and not women or.men?

Probably! You cannot fix transphobia in 1 day.
You can't...probably not in a decade...if the trans wanted acceptance as part of society they need to find a ground to stand on...forcing people to consider them as women r men won't be the best step forward...

It's quite simple really...let trans have the same employment opportunities as everyone else...the gap has been closer now than before...there are women military personnels etc etc... there are male nurses now too. but you can't pit women vs men...sports, combat. Trans are people too...they have rights, but they are not women and shouldn't be considered as...period.
We're not always on the same side of the political spectrum but that was well-stated, rich.

The fact that we're equal is not the issue. Men and women have their own spaces, such as private all-girl schools, despite being equal.

Why? Because men and women are equal but different - in physicality and mind.

Men and women learn differently, they mature at different rates, they experience anxiety and phobias at different rates, they focus on things vs people and logic vs emotions differently, they have different rates of exceptionally dull and exceptionally high intelligence, they have vastly different mating strategies and libido, they engage in high risk behaviours at different rates, and on and on.

Setting aside physical capabilities, female spaces exist for good reason.

Not at all. They separate boys from the girls to avoid distraction. Better concentration, better result. Better it is for the school image. Classes are all the same and exam as well.

I went to religious private school. Emphasis on religious because this is where it all started. I learned Latin and made my prayers every morning 😇

Yes, you need to get over your own uneasiness.
Its your problem, not theirs.

Personally, weirdos like this put me more at unease.

' In highly-charged scenes at the North Paris Arena, Carini revealed afterwards that she had pulled out after after being hit harder than she had ever been hit before. A first punch dislodged her chinstrap and a second smashed against her chin and bloodied her shorts. '

' “I am heartbroken,” said Carini. “I went to the ring to honour my father. I was told a lot of times that I was a warrior but I preferred to stop for my health. I have never felt a punch like this.” The 25-year-old, from Naples, added: “I got into the ring to fight. I didn’t give up, but one punch hurt too much and so I said enough. I’m going out with my head held high. “After the second punch, after years of experience, I felt a strong pain in the nose. I said enough, because I didn’t want. I couldn’t finish the fight after the punch to the nose. So it was better to put an end to it. '

It makes no sense to have biological men boxing against biological women. A biological man could easily kill a biological woman in a boxing match. Time to get the rules changed!!

She's a man. Disgusting not fair.

The controversial fight between Imane Khelif, the Algerian boxer who failed a sex test at last year’s World Championships, and Italy’s Angela Carini has been abandoned after just 46 seconds after the Italian suffered a suspected broken nose.

This fight had already detonated ferocious controversy, with the International Olympic Committee under mounting pressure to explain how a woman could be allowed into a boxing ring unsure of the sex of the person she was facing.

Khelif was banned from competing in a gold-medal bout in Delhi by the International Boxing Association, who said that the fighter’s “elevated levels of testosterone failed to meet the eligibility criteria”.

And yet she was still permitted by the IOC to fight at these Olympics and the difference in power was clear from the beginning, with the Italian taking a punch to the face and immediately walking to her corner to signal she would not carry on.

I just finished watching the Khelif vs Carini fight.
  • Khelif is really arrogant.
  • Khelif looked physically stronger. And definitely was way faster.
  • I have to question Carini's heart for quitting so soon. But I have to respect her decision if she felt a safety issue for her well being.
