Driving home one night listening to Bowen calling the Leaf game and Nylander scored an important goal, he called out "Wee Willie Nylander!"... too fucking funny. Bowan and Ralph re hilarious.

I think that was perfectly legal. He had the puck for a split second and dropped it at his own feet. He did not skate with it, nor throw it to a teammate nor close his hand over the puck in the crease.
It was clearly visible to everyone including the Bruins. If it was illegal they'd have definitely challenged the play.
The Leafs will need to solve the Marchand case. The guy is a rat. Nasty play all the way. Who will be able to show him to fucking stop? If not the Bruins will again steal this series out of nasty dirty ugly hockey play 
That's playoff hockey our boys in blue don't have that. We tie it a 2, they come back in seconds, we had opportunities to clear the puck when the Bruins missed a few times in the empty net and what does Berts do, he tries to one-on-one the opposition and loses th epuck and Marchand scores. marchand is talented but a player who knows how perfectly to play dirty. The Leafs need to knock him out. The Leafs are wayyyyyy to good. They play perfect hockey yet will complain why they lose. Well they lose because ass holes like Marchand makes 2-3 dirty play and get along with it.
i have played soccer at high level at some point if you don't make players like understand marchand that they are playing dirty you lose the game. As simple as that.
the Leaf sucks and lose because they don't understand playoff hockey. The Leafs are far more superior technically but lack the grits. and they let ass holes like Marchand get away with making 3-4 faults on the second Bruins goal unpunished!
Seriously i played a league when i was 30 where a player lost all of is front teeth because he was dirty and we add enough.... Got to send a message and right now Leafs are way way too soft and will get kicked out again.

say what you want about brad, never takes a shift off. sure he plays with an edge, nothing wrong with that. your team had 5 pps tonite. your best players need to be your best players.

Leafs are way too nice. They let him play his dirty way.
Even an elegant player like Lafleur back in the days would have shove his big nose face in the ice and told him to stop all his dirty hooking.

Players like Marchand and Matthew Tkatchuk draw penalties. There is no way anyone is going to deter Marchand. Domi already tried to fight him in the regular season and he turtled. Domi already slashed him and took a penalty. Don't know what else you're expecting Domi to do here. Bertuzzi also slashed him and took a penalty. This is exactly what Marchand wants. Talking to him would just make him laugh in your face or lick your face. Quite frankly this is the type of reaction Marchand wants from his opponents. Against Marchand focus on hockey and stop his hockey plays. Anything else is just playing into his hands. To make Marchand cry Leafs have to beat Boston. That's the only way.
Once Leafs took the lead Boston's playing style changed. They ramped it up. More of a push and more intensity.
Like in previous series against Boston their power play is eating up the Leafs again and Leafs power play is floundering.
I suppose they could use a Nylander on the power play.
They lost the game because Boston's PP scored and Leafs PP didn't and Swayman was better than Samsonov.

The only thing that hasn't changed in Toronto the past 6 years is the core4 and the President. How much longer can they blame the coach and GMStop crying, the bum Leafs lose ,they had 5 power plays , didn't score at all . Marchand maybe a rat, but he can play. Yes special teams will ultimately cost us this series. Particularly the woeful penalty kill that finished 23rd in the league during the regular season
I believe that the coaching staff has to share the blame ,they don't get the best out of the players. Yes the core 4 ultimately hold a lot of responsibility they are super talented but don't have a win at all costs attitude.
