I posted a parallel case further up the thread where the cops charged assault with a weapon and dangerous driving and got convictions for pretty much exactly the same scenario.

If their balls weren't bigger than their brains, they would have pulled the murder one charge, laid a new information for DD and AwaW and never given those ludicrously fabricated statements.

I mean, think it through. A guy is in front of you and you ram him with the car going at 15 or 20 mph - probably the max speed you can attain in a couple of seconds. You're going to break - maybe just bruise - the vic's legs and throw him up on the car hood. The vic's not going to go down under the wheels.

Speaking of characterization of statements.

Only the three lying police officers claimed that Officer Northrup was standing in front of the car. Zameeer, his wife, the Police Sargeat Collision Expert, the defence expert, the lack of any marks on the front of the car, Officer Northrups smeared handprints on the SIDE windows of the car, the physical injuries to Northrup not including any frontal impact.... All the evidence is that Northrup fell at the side of the car and was run over without Zameer even being able to see him.

So, yeah... there's that evidence.

As for the 15-20 mph? Where did you get that speed from? The BMW only moved 20-30 feet from where it was parked, (the point of initial contract) to where the body was rolled under the car. Is this BMW's new Electromagnetic Rail Gun powered model that can accelerate that fast in such a short distance?


BTW, the link you posted took me to some other Daily Case News kind of page. I didn;t find the case you referred to. So, contrary to TERB customs, I can't comment on it.

Most notable to me was the dignity in which he conducted himself and represented Mr Zameer. Even his accusations of false testimony against the three police officers was dignified.

I mentioned in an earlier post that the lead prosecutor was the supervisor of the downtown Toronto Crown's office. He is a disgrace for pursuing this case that had no reasonable prospect of conviction and in impugning and creating motives out of whole cloth and his narrative theory changing theories of the case. Two judges said so to his face. On the record.

Imagine all the other accused he railroaded...

The Bankruptcy Court had a housecleaning a few years back when they had a fucking aggressive dickwad Registrar (Nettie) that was needlessly fucking vulnerable people over and iin the process, clogged up the courts. The main Superior Court Judge Morawitz had to toss the whole team of Registrars just to camoflage his firing.

If Doug Ford had a brain cell or a single functioning ball, he'd convene a board of inquiry into how the prosecution was conducted. But he'll hide out and blow his developer buddies for payoffs instead.

They are so stupid. There was this fantastic article that outlined what happened in the trial, I can't seem to find it. The judge literally turned to the jury and told them this was all bs and they should come out with a not guilty verdict.

He had no injuries remotely consistent with being struck while standing.

This is how the police lies, told first, take hold. Then it takes hundreds of exchange to get even a smart lawyer like you to come around to accepting the dozens of posts that the police's own Sargeant forensic acccident investigator said so! At both the bail hearing and the trial. And the bail judge and trial judge said so too! And the photos of the car show that the front bumper or thin lightweight aluminium hood of car did not so much as hit a bumble bee. Least of all a 6'3" 300 lb man.

From the very outset my friend, you allowed yourself to be convinced by the police lies. Right from the initial statement from the Chief that night that it was an intentional murder. All lies.

and inept cop was taken out though at the expense of an innocent
man and his family. Umar Zameer might have preemptively averted
cases of harassment of innocent minority bystanders by a white bully
cop in plain clothes.

Buddy, I'm not "invested" in anything. I didn't learn about the Crown's own accident report until it was mentioned AFTER the defence accident report was put into evidence towards the end of the trial.

Unlike you, I haven't been following the trial 24/7.

Another good thing that came out of this is that you, again, prove yourself to be a dim-witted, hateful fucktard.

There was no evidence that Officer Northrup was a white bully cop.

From all accounts he was a fine, decent cop with a good record that had been in the Station for past decade or so. Probably got soft and so wanted to get back on the street one last time before retiring. So he got an easy assignment to keep an eye out for any possible Canada Day shenanigans.

I think that in light of his long service, nobody felt the need to bring him up to speed on current practices. At worst, he might not have been as competent and proficient as he whuld have been if something like this came up. And it seems that his female partner was not any more competent. I have no respect for her and cut her no slack, nor to the other cops because they obviously lied to protect each other and the reputation of Office Northrup. I fucking hate liars.

It was my recollection that you were in on this discussion from the outset and had a strong opinion that the driver deliberately and repeatedly ran into and over the police officer.
