I mean it doesn't take a genius to listen to Trump saying "There are good people on both sides" regarding NAZIS and call that for what it is - Racist.

This is the actual speech and you're incorrect...He called the neo nazis and white nationalists ''very bad people''.

The entire march was organized by the far right neo-nazis and white nationalists. There were very fine people only on one side - the counter protestors. Not on the right.

I mean if you are a very fine person, why would you show up to a march organized by nazis and white nationalists? If you buddy around with them and walk with them in a march, showing solidarity, then it means you are part of that group and not a fine person after all. So Trump was undoubtedly placating his neo-nazi base, without saying it openly. Hence my rightful accusation of racism.
You out and out lied...Just own it and move on.

Looking at that press conference for the first time in quite a while. (Even if only a part of the press conference.)
Interesting to watch it again.

1) First off, Trump blames "the left" for the violence, saying they charged violently. ("[The left] came violently attacking the other group." )
2) He then shifts that to blame on both sides, and insists everyone agrees with him. ("I have no doubt about it and you don't have any doubt about it, either." )
3) He then defends the unite the right protesters by saying "They didn't put themselves down as Neo-Nazis".
4) He then says there were some very bad people in that group, but then insists there were some very fine people. (Quickly adding "on both sides" as an afterthought.)
5) Specifically, he tries to clarify that the "fine people" on the alt-right side were the ones there to protest taking down the statue and renaming the Robert E. Lee park.
6) He does the silly "are we gonna take down statues to George Washington" tap dance and then the even stupider "you're changing history" nonsense.
7) That segues into the fig leaf of condeming the neo nazis and white nationalists. ( "and I’m not talking about the neo-Nazis and the white nationalists, because they should be condemned totally – but you had many people in that group other than neo-Nazis and white nationalists, okay?" )
8) Basically, he is arguing that the people at the "unite the right" rally who aren't explicitly identifying as neo-Nazis and white nationalists shouldn't be tarred with the same brush.
9) Specifically, the press treated those other people "very unfairly".
10) He gets back to his real point - there were troublemakers in the counter protesting group.
11) When pushed, he says the "fine people" he was talking about were the ones the night before, who were just "protesting very quietly, the taking down the statue of Robert E. Lee". He says maybe there were some bad people there, but that was mostly the next day when " it looked like they had some rough, bad people, neo-Nazis, white nationalists, whatever you want to call ‘em".
12) But the alt-right people had a permit, not the other people.

So the "good people"/"fine people" were the ones protesting the night before, on August 11. Not the 12th, when the violence was high and that guy ran counter-protestors over.

The insane driving is bad enough, but now this? There were 4 of them, attacking a female and what seems to be another female in the passenger seat.
Now the police are looking for them. RIP Brampton, they truly destroyed that beautiful city.
And get a dual-channel dashcam, it's priceless to have. Dual channel essentially means a front and rear camera.

By your standards all other cities and probably entire globe was RIP ages ago!!

Didn't have to use those exact words. When everyone on the right were nazis, saying there were fine people on the right, automatically means he is saying neo-nazis are fine people.
Nope..People have the right to peacefully protest no matter what you think of their position.

I said EVERYONE who attended in support of the rally, were Neo-nazis and white nationalists. So it does not matter if Trump did not say "Neo nazis are fine people". The very fact that he said there were "fine people" on the right means he said Neo-nazis are fine people. And as Valcazar also indicated, the "very fine people the night before" that Trump referred to, were the Tikki torch bearing neo-nazis who were yelling "jews will not replace us". Come on stop spiralling defending Trump's racism and BS.
Oh i forgot white people cant be proud of their race anymore 🙄 i didnt see any nazi flags?

What is chaotic? The same problems we have today existed in the 80s too. Infact, more pronounced and I would argue the 80s were more chaotic with gangs and crack cocaine.
Kaut' Brampton was NOWHERE near what it is today, back in say 1994, nowhere even remotely close. I never felt fear when I was driving around Flowertown/McLaughlin area, absolutely none.
I'll go over a dashcam incident from my car, if I can find it, I did nothing and I thought maybe it was a case of mistaken identity, but a black tinted Benz pulled up on me, cut me off and I thought I was going to end up on YouTube that day, all because they were going to jump out and beat the shit out of me and I did nothing. lol

The shit is whacked up there now, this isn't just some random stuff that's being concocted, it's the Wild Wild East.

And how was the world in 80s and 90s? Probably much better place compared to today!

Probably the random shootings & stabbings & other crimes weren't even heard of then that we hear in present day Toronto and many other places in world.

So conclusion is that it's not Brampton that's fucked, it's entire world that's fucked. Antone care to change the title of thread?
Naturally things weren't perfect, but they weren't fucked like they are today, title is fine.

I guess Insurance companies are racist too, charging Bramptonians more money for having insurance for no reason at all, they just thought, "let's pick Brampton more, fuck it"

Brampton, like Pelham Park Gardens, Malvern, Driftwood, Sherbourne and Dundas, I have no reason to go there so what ever happens there doesn't concern me one iota. Ditto with Barton Street East in Hamilton, just avoid.
