Brampton is a major transportation and light to heavy industry hub in the GTA, crucial in the Canada‘s increasingly declining productivity economy and is necessarily here tostay, visible minorities which soon may become the majority not withstanding. This is just another part of Canada’s ever changing reality.
Politics is already morphing along these lines in pro and cons, for and against movements, but in the end and for the greater clarity, just follow the money. Indians or Indo- Canadians are now a major reality from student visa workers to mechanics, truck drivers, banking , healthcare support staff and medicine to politicians.

Brampton drivers are the worst when driving in DT Toronto, they don't yield for pedestrians, they make illegal turns, they honk at baby strollers at crosswalks, they stop on crosswalk markers blocking pedestrians pathway, they block the intersection, they drive on one-way streets go the opposite direction, they drive on sidewalks, etc.

That is a YouTube channel with an agenda, presenting cherry picked interviews of some really old people who had something to say. That said, I agree that while ethnic enclaves are a problem and I myself refuse to move to cities like Brampton for that reason (I did not come to Canada to live in little India after all), how would the good folks of the lighter coloured areas (majority white) below, feel about a few Indians, Pakistanis, Africans and Middle Eastern people moving in, so that it is not a white ethnic enclave? Do you think they would be accepting and would these minorities feel at home and welcomed? What do you think?

I can say yes. I'm seeing turnover now of houses as boomers sell off, properties are split etc. I have a nice Asian family moved in next door. A Hispanic family across the street. Several other ethnicity around walking etc.

Everyone keeps up their houses, drives reasonably, no loud parties, kids are well behaved, even the teens.

It's when an expat culture dominates that they tend to not assimilate.

Little mix of both. There are also a large number of other groups of people that have embraced a criminal lifestyle as well. Thus there is a lot of street gang crime as well.

Crime rate can mean anything. Usually breaks down to Violent and Property, both of which Brampton has loads of and always had.
