For instance, you keep posting Drummond but are entirely unable to article what point Drummond makes that you think the country or province should be listening to, instead you just say its 'deflecting' to point out that Drummond says don't cut services but cut budgets.
Then you post a couple of articles saying that there was a big debt/deficit before DoFo but then can't connect that to the budget released today, where DoFo announced way bigger deficit.
What is your point?

Can you not read what you posted? The 407 East is still owned by the Ontario Government, as they built it and not the 407ETR.
It is cheaper to use the 407 East than the 407ETR. The only thing that the 407ETR does is to collect the tolls and then forward it to the Ontario Government.
The Ontario Liberal Govt.had nothing to do with the 407ETR sweetheart contracts that was signed by the Conservative Govt!!

Yes the Liberals amended the 407 East contract but the 407 ETR is what the province does not want to pursue legal action against, similar to when the Liberals went through a year of legal challenges with the 407 ETR and lost and wasted taxpayer money fighting it.
In this recent case, it would be a waste of time suing the 407 ETR because of the contract clause of "force majeure". That clause is standard in many contracts. So the government did the right thing to not waste money fighting this.
Well The 407ETR Contract was gifted by the Conservatives who did not insert any clauses as to the reasonable pricing on tolls.
The Liberals did the right thing to challenge it though they lost, as they were trying to make the tolls more reasonable.
But when "Free Enterprise" gouges the Canadians due to their monopoly, of course the righties are going to defend them and somehow blame The Liberals.
Admit it that the Conservatives made a severe mess by selling this lease for 99 years:

You are living in total denial as to how the Harris Govt. screwed up. The Liberal Govt. tried to intercede with the rate at which these rate hikes were being imposed on the Canadians.
But the contract was written in stone by the Harris Govt. So why is the Court case such a big deal to you when it pales into comparison when compared to the sale of the 407ETR?
Ford has lost more than a dozen lawsuits, so do you condemn him from wasting taxpayers money? He lost numerous court cases when he came into office as he was clueless and he was the one who ploughed on from case to case!!
What is the alternative to the Carbon Tax? More than 80% of Canadians are benefiting from the rebates. Just one Liberal Premier opposed the April 1st increase and not the Carbon Tax itself!!
