Sure.
Your view of Trump is wrong and delusional.
But it is the same strategy.
"Trump would be better or really not that bad, because the important thing is that the Democrat loses."
No, the important thing is you refuse to vote for someone committing genocide.
That trumps rump winning, its an unfortunate cost.
Preferably the dems listen to the 80% who back a ceasefire and oust Biden somehow.

How, exactly, do you see that happening?
Are you saying there will be a cease fire or something under Biden's watch?
A ceasefire which you will then punish him for by making sure Trump wins?
Netanyahu could be ousted, he's constantly on thin ground and the hostages families and opponents are constantly pressuring him. Harris just declared her support for a ceasefire (with conditions), Jill B has been protested and the party can't keep news of polls away from Joe forever. The party knows its an election losing position the question is how does Genocide Joe back down.

What I do know is that the starvation and disease is hitting catastrophic levels and the numbers of dead will rise to even more unsupportable levels very soon. Biden keeps announcing that a ceasefire is very close.

What on earth are you basing this on?
And are you saying that Biden will restart it?
Not at all, if the media get in when this pauses it will never be allowed to restart. Not by Netanyahu, Biden or rump. Gaza has been destroyed and there is nothing left to attack except refugees living in tents. The US and Israel will work hard to keep the press out but it'll be hard to stop social media.

I'm saying that round two of Trump would be much worse than round 1.
And since you just said above that the genocide would be over before April, then your argument for putting Trump into power appears to be "Biden did a bad thing, therefore Americans must suffer" since it isn't even like you are arguing that Trump would stop the Genocide that Biden won't.
I'm arguing that the on the ground differences between a Biden and rump presidency aren't that big, but genocide really is. Americans didn't suffer under rump, they won't suffer that much under rump 2.0 now that he's senile. Biden passed a few minor changes but nothing structural, rump only passed a tax cut and screwed over the SCOTUS. Biden refuses to act to fix that, and really, he's politically not that further away.

If the Israeli's are dead set on committing genocide and Biden is supporting them, then it won't stop until everyone is dead.
That's the point of supporting genocide, isn't it?
Historically Netanyahu has killed as many Palestinians as he thought he could get away with. From the Great March of Return to the 2014 slaughter he had the ability to kill more but rode the line to 'mow the grass' as much as he could without losing US and global support. This time he's in a more desperate political position and decided to keep the killing going rather than face his corruption trial and political rivalries. Biden's support is enabling this. Israel could kill everyone pretty quickly if they wanted but the outrage would end zionism. Instead he's allowing it to happen through starvation and disease in the hopes that he can blame the UNRWA.

It's cute when you try to be clever.
Try and keep up.
Given a choice between two bad options, you take the less bad option.
You have yet to provide a single reason getting rid of Joe helps the Palestinians other than you feel it punishes the bad behavior you want punished.
Except that it rewards people who want to do more of that bad behavior, so it isn't even like you're going to get a clear message out of it.
Genocide is a worse option than corruption.
Getting rid of Joe and purging AIPAC influence hastens the oncoming end of zionism, which is the only way to help Palestinians. A ceasefire alone is no better than shack's wet dream of a surrender. They need systematic change as does the US.

No.
I am arguing that since Trump will be worse for the Palestinians, there is nothing to be gained by trying to get him to win in order to "punish Biden".
That isn't arguing it is "ok for Biden to commit Genocide" that is arguing that "this course of action doesn't get me what I want".
You yourself have said in this very post that the US election will have NO EFFECT on the genocide, since the Israeli operation will stop before then.
I can't see that rump will be worse than genocide. Instead rump will try to pull out of NATO and the UN which would end US vetos over Israeli war crimes. There is a chance he'd prop up the Israeli government but I'd expect that when this is over and Netanyahu is gone there won't be another despot for him to back.

I don't have to convince myself of either of those things.
I have to convince myself that Trump would be worse for the Palestinians.
This is not difficult to do.
I have to convince myself that Trump would be worse for the Americans.
This is not difficult to do.
I have to convince myself that Trump would be worse for the World.
This is not difficult to do.

There isn't even a moral trade off here where Trump wins one category.
Neither do I.
Nothing can be worse than the ongoing genocide in Gaza.
Its not hard to convince myself that stopping the Genocide is more important than allowing the messed up US system to get a bit more messed up for a few years.

Ahh.
The "I wouldn't vote for them so I am morally clean" delusion.

Well, I know I won't break you of that, but luckily you don't vote in US elections.
You keep acting as if my views are unique instead of part of sizable chunk of the dems.

He's been quite bad on the issue, I agree.
Very weak and ineffectual, even given his very limited ability to affect the issue.
I want more from him.

But, as you said, none of it matters because Israel will stop anyway, according to you.
No, he's not been weak and ineffectual, its the opposite.
Biden alone has been the only strong arm vetoing global UN SC resolutions that could have stopped the genocide.
He has been strong armed in denying funding for the US and instead using emergency powers to send billions more in bombs to Gaza.

Biden has declared himself a zionist and actively aided genocide.

Yes.
But you have adopted his strategy of "damn both their houses, but especially this one because I don't like them now so even though the goals I think are important would be better served with them in power, it is important that they lose".

Never Again is why most Jews hate Hamas and why protests at Jewish businesses or synagogues is seen as disgusting.
No, its sad you haven't learned the lessons of the Holocaust, basketcase.
But its much worse that you've become everything Never Again worked to stop.

Zionism will be tried for genocide and forever sit in the history bin beside nazism.

My daughter in laws is Jewish and as far as I know the lesson of the holocaust was fight back against people who are trying to eradicate you and do not march into the ovens or in this case the sea.

No, the lesson was not march weaker people into the oven, rape them, bomb them, starve them and destroy their entire culture.
Its amazing you can even think you know what you're talking about.

Earp, I post about a number of different topics, including posting nudes.

I'm not the guy posting over and over and over and over about how there's no need for actual evidence that Joe Biden committed a crime because "doncha-thinky-thinky-thinky-thinky?" .

You got into the same shtick when you spent page after page complaining that Trump's judicial loss in the E. Jean Carroll trial "wasn't really a loss because it was a civil trial, not a criminal trial". It's repetitive, silly and pointless.

You post only in the politics section and only very strained "defences" of an extremely dubious current crop of GOP personalities - most of whom have been disbarred, jailed or found civilly liable for large amounts of money.

How many times have you written essentially the same post in this thread over and over and over again?
Many see your involvement here as overly-aggressive and an attempt to curate what is said and isn't said. You seem to be on patroll for certain members in the political threads.

You can adopt a post and let post credo and everyone will get along much better. When you seem to get agitated by certain members, that's the time to take a step back.

Just because you know how to get close to the line with aggression and profanity, doesn't mean there aren't ways for some of us to demand more civil participation. The moderators can give you a long rope, but members don't have to accept that. We can only hope you are not actually a moderator. (You wouldn't want to be a moderator. It would hamstring you.)

PS- I have to disagree with you. You post a lot on the political threads. Seeing your name just under Frank as the most prolific on TERB was more than interesting.

I have. So have the Jews who get offended by your constant anti-semitism and support for ethnic cleansing of Jews. the only lesson you've learned is how to promote hatred against groups you don't like.

Yet you make excuses for hamas who slaughtered concert goers and went door to door in towns, killing, raping, and kidnapping people for being Jews in land that Hamas wants for their Islamic Caliphate.

No coincidence that the spiritual leader of the Palestinians spent WWII in Berlin, helping the Nazis raise troops for Waffen SS, the same organization that was conducting the Holocaust.

It doesn't matter how he got there.
Even if I accept your description, he still ended up in the same place to make it work.

Trump is out there saying Israel needs to be stronger and that they need to "finish the job" but he's still going to insist Trump probably would be better than Biden.
I haven't caught up, but I am sure that any of the recent announcements about humanitarian aid are just more proof Biden is pro-genocide.
Anything that lets people think something is being done is bad because it means people have cover to do more genocide.
I think I've seen the argument on twitter that the proposed dock is actually a way for the US to invade Gaza directly and commit the genocide themselves.

It's all about working backwards to the pre-chosen conclusion at this point.
