I work with a lot of MAGA/Trump Supporters and one thing is for sure, most are loyal to Trump only and not the GOP. So once he is gone it spells real trouble for the GOP, and catering to every wish and demand of Trump doesn't help. The more unhinged Trump got, the more the GOP and right-wing got unhinged to keep the MAGA cult base happy. Now I don't believe either the GOP or Fox fake can pull these people back into what resembles a normal political party. The way I see it, MAGA will either destroy American democracy(Trump wins) or destroys the GOP.
It does seem much more like a cult of personality than a political movement.
There are no policies or plans to the movement for anyone to take over.

Not sure if you know but MAGA stands for "Make America Great Again". This means putting America first, rather than sending taxpayer money to fight proxy wars overseas. It is in contrast to the democrats' globalist agenda.

I think you are right on the mark. There is a book called Everything Trump Touches Dies, and he brings receipts. Lindsey Graham said Trump would destroy the GOP, and I think he's right. I would not be shocked if they formed a third party of extremists. I think they'd win some seats and probably hurt future GOP presidential candidates....but they couldn't govern their way out of a wet paper bag...
After Trump, there is a good possibility that the GOP will splinter, temporarily until they find a unifier.
