Canada needs to start suing the NRA and red states with virtually no gun restrictions. Most guns used in crimes were smuggled in from the US

We could toughen some laws, sentences. That see people back on the streets after a cup of coffee. Change the bail system so that it’s not a revolving door. We could also give cops some cops and tools they need. Not to mention border measures. Not unlike how we handled drunk driving which also includes random checks. Oddly no-one screams about those……. Btw how did that ban work?
We could also stop locking people up, for petty crimes, so they can find work instead and don’t become hardened criminals. Of coarse this would mean creating jobs and infrastructure that cost money too. Walk the talk I suppose and socioeconomics.
I imagine this would help the courts a lot too. And we can house more of the hardened criminals that do the real damage.
Good luck with that, we have a lot of bleeding hearts that also prefer to spend money on fluff
