It was not unilateral. It was negotiated with other parties involved. As long as Hamas kept returning hostages it would stay in effect. Once Hamas stopped, the ceasefire was broken. It was stated as such right at the start of that ceasefire. There was no surprise. Hamas knew what the deal was.

Not at all what I said. Hamas has to surrender and return the hostages, then negotiations can take place. Peace first and then extended negotiations to make it last.
