What tv shows are you watching

Started watching Transplant on Netflix. Really good! I think it was unique and different that they started the series from the point of view of an asylee to Canada, struggling to get his credentials recognized in Canada. As an immigrant, all too familiar with those struggles!
I'm enjoying The Fall of the House of Usher. Netflix successfully modernized Edgar Allen Poe's masterpiece without diluting it for the PC crowd. It's very intense gothic horror with Toronto's Bruce Greenwood (Star Trek - Captain Pike) as the head of the Usher family. Carla Cugino as second billing she hasn't done much yet. I suspect she's the connection to the Vincent Price film. And Mark Hamill continuing to burnish his credentials as a character actor as the Usher family' s ruthless lawyer Arthur Pym.
Carla Cugino's character has finally been revealed. She was Roderick Usher's first wife who gets entombed alive. The Roger Corman film had almost no connection with the Poe novel except for Verna who shows up at a rave/orgy as The Masque of the Red Death.

Truthfully I get so overwhelmed by the sheer amount of shows just on Netflix that I don’t know what to start to watch because, you know, I don’t want to invest time into something that’s garbage. So most times I just shut off the tv and read a book.
I feel like I’m missing out. Especially with some travel I need to do in the new year, I’ve got no idea what to download for the plane.
I like quirky documentaries, fiction based off real life and comedies.
I’m open to all suggestions

I lost interest in Warrior Nun after three episodes but Alba Baptista is another spicy Portuguese girl. It's not HARD to understand why she's popular, look at how many fans Lindsey Biscaia has on this board.
Just watched the series finale of The Curse. Generally the series was worth watching, but I sure wasn't expecting the events of the final episode 
I've just started watching Community and it's yet another show I regret sleeping on. The chemistry between Donald Glover and Danny Pudi is great and I've had a crush on Alison Brie for years so I was sold based on her being in it alone.
There's actually a fan theory that Annie, her character on the show, is the granddaughter of Alison's character on Mad Men, Trudi Campbell.
I also just started Ozark and it's been pretty great so far too.
Just to add to this, I started the new season of Dr. Death this weekend and I'm not going to lie, it hasn't been as good as S1 was so far.

This plus new and final season of Curb Your Enthusiasm dropping of Feb 4. Going to be some good t.v watch for a few months. Finally...
The 4th season of ''True Detective'' just dropped so will get right on that.
