Good eye, I didn't recognize him, seen that episode many times. He's Giam-Boner!
I started watching Night Heat due to Scott Hylands being the lead. He was part of my introduction to live theater at the Stratford Festival. It was a production of Coriolanus with Hylands as Aufidius and John Vernon as Coriolanus. I was barely 20 at the time, I've never forgotten it. Vernon had a string films including Dirty Harry, Magnum Force, The Outlaw Josey Wales and Animal House.

Call me late but I’m halfway through the first season of game of thrones  . Is the ending as bad as everyone say it was?

Just finished watching the modest but incisive British comedy series "Everyone Else Burns". Aired on the CW, but I found it on a torrent stream. Six half-hour episodes.

Revolves around the small but pernicious ways a pompous patriarch allows a local "doomsday End Of Times" cult to slowly corrode his marriage and his relationship with his teenage daughter and young son.

Quite dry and hilarious. Recommended.

I watched Runaway season 1 on Netflix - 10 episodes in 3 days. In French Fugueuse , with English subtitles. There is a season 2 . It ran in Quebec - 2018 - 2020 . There is a made in France version too . A 16 yr old girl from the upper middle class Montreal suburbs , gradually is enticed into the underworld ; strip club , pimped out . Nasty plot , but addicting to watch . High rating on imdb.

Sex Education on Netflix. It's a comedy/drama series from the UK about a nerdy high school kid who gives sex and relationship advice to other students.

You must be very open minded and not prudish about sex issues, which I'm sure most people here are.

It's one of the funniest series Ive ever seen, but it can also be very touching and covers many other issues common today.

Sex Education was wonderful, they didn't sugar coat the ending.

And so will S2 of Wednesday. There are some who are unhappy with Jenna Ortega dropping out of Scream VII to concentrate of Wednesday. A wise business decision by Ms Ortega, one is a tired franchise of diminishing return, the other is a series that's just started drawing money. I hope the Shape Shifter (Gwendoline Christie - Game of Thrones) survived S1.

Murder At The End Of The World on Disney and Based On A True Story on StackTv through Amazon Prime. I'm a couple episodes in on both and they seem promising.

How times have changed, Primo Foods is now part of MLSE. In the late 50's the company was nearly bankrupt, so they decided to stop being a niche company. They started promoting their mortadella as a healthier alternative to baloney, they got a great pitchman to make it happen in Bobby Vinci. My parents even supported his theater company, his productions were too old school for my taste. Eventually Mr. Vinci landed the role of Duke on the GOAT Canadian Show.

I just started The Rig on Prime. It's a horror series staring Iain Glen, he used to play Jorah Mormont on Game of Thrones. It's been pretty good so far.

Just to add to this, Emily Hampshire is in this and I did not realize that she used to play Stevie on Schitt's Creek. It's amazing how having her hair pulled back made her unrecognizable!

Mike Myers also had an episode on King of Kensington. My admiration for Al Waxman grew over time, he did some incredible characterizations including Red Wings owner Jack Adams in Net Worth and the Warden in the Denzel/Norman Jewison film The Hurricane. Denzel got ripped off that year, the Best Actor Oscar went to Kevin Spacey for American Beauty.

Guilty pleasure. Really enjoying Season 2 of "The Gilded Age" on Crave. I also loved "Downton Abbey" so you'll know from where I am coming.

But set in New York in the late 1800's.

Same writer, and similar "costume drama" genre. Interesting dialogue, acting, and plot.
