At this point I feel like I have to stop caring about American elections. I used to really hate Trump because he is a criminal but if the Dems are buddy buddy with hamas who are even bigger criminals I am going to stop giving a shit.
Yesterday Dana Bash gave it to Jayapal for minimizing the rapes of Israeli women by Hamas.

State Department: Some women not released because Hamas doesn't want them to talk

State Department spokesman Mathew Miller says Hamas is afraid of what some of its hostages will say about how they were treated.

State Department spokesman Mathew Miller stated that one of the reasons the temporary ceasefire between Israel and Hamas fell apart last week is that Hamas does not want to release the women it still holds hostage out of fear that they will reveal how badly they have been treated.

"The fact that they continue to hold women hostages, the fact that they continue to hold children hostages, the fact that it seems one of the reasons they don't want to turn women over that they've been holding hostage and the reason this pause fell apart, is they don't want those women to be able to talk about what happened to them during their time in custody," he said.

Miller stated that the US has "no reason" to doubt the reports of mass rape and sexual violence committed by Hamas terrorists on October 7. "There is very little that I would put beyond Hamas when it comes to its treatment of civilians, particularly its treatment of women."

When asked if Israel's retaliation for the massacre was also an atrocity, Miller responded that his use of the word atrocity was in response to the "intentional murdering of civilians that we saw Hamas commit."

"I don't think there is anyone questioning that Hamas intentionally killed civilians. That is, by definition, an atrocity," he said, adding that he has "not seen" any evidence that Israel is intentionally killing civilians and that a large part of the death toll in Gaza is due to the fact that "Hamas has embedded itself inside civilian homes, inside mosques and schools and churches. It is Hamas that is putting these civilians in harm's way."

He said that he is "surprised I don't hear more people saying: Why doesn't Hamas lay down its arms? Why doesn't Hamas move out of schools? Why doesn't Hamas take additional steps to protect civilians?"

Miller said that the US has seen an improvement in Israel's ability to avoid causing harm to civilians in the latest stage of the war. “We’ve seen a much more targeted request for evacuations,” he said. “So that is an improvement on what’s happened before.”

He further stated that the US is pressing Israel to allow greater amounts of fuel into Gaza than entered the territory even during the ceasefire last week.

More Blumenthal. Do better.

Here's a challenge for you. Go find the same material NOT written by Blumenthal, Mate, Galloway, Hinkley or someone else who isn't written up in Wiki as a Kremlin stooge and liar.
The trouble is that verifiable documentation is always provided by Max, Mandy

Shin Bet head: ‘We’ll kill Hamas leaders in Qatar, Turkey’
"This is our 'Munich,' " said Ronen Bar, referring to the Mossad operation to avenge the massacre at the 1972 Olympics.

(December 4, 2023 / JNS)
The head of the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) said on Sunday that Israel will eliminate the leaders of Hamas in Qatar and Turkey.

“The Cabinet set us a goal. In the words of the street, it is to eliminate Hamas, and we are determined to do it. This is our ‘Munich,’ ” said Shin Bet director Ronen Bar, referring to “Operation Wrath of God,” which Israel launched against the terrorists responsible for the massacre of 11 Israeli athletes at the Munich Olympics in 1972.

It was the first time Bar had commented on the Gaza war, according to Channel 11.

Bar was repeating guidance handed down by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who told reporters on Nov. 22, “I have instructed the Mossad to act against the heads of Hamas wherever they are.”

Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant said at the same press conference that Hamas leaders were living on “borrowed time.”

“They are marked for death,” he said. “The struggle is worldwide, both the terrorists in Gaza and those who fly in expensive planes.”

Israeli officials told The Wall Street Journal that plans are in the works to target Hamas leaders in Lebanon, Turkey and Qatar, a Gulf state that has allowed the terror group to run a political office in Doha for a decade.

Israel has experience in carrying out targeted assassinations overseas. Citing the book, “Rise and Kill First” by Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman, the Journal reports that Israel has conducted more than 2,700 such operations since World War II.

The most recent, well-publicized assassination attributed to Israel was of Iranian nuclear scientist Mohsen Fakhrizadeh in November 2020. was shot to death while driving in Abs0ard, east of Tehran.

It’s also widely accepted that Mossad agents, disguised as tourists and hotel staff, were behind the January 2010 assassination of Hamas leader Mahmoud al Mabhouh in Dubai.

In 1997, Netanyahu, then serving his first term as prime minister, ordered a hit on Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal in Jordan. Mossad agents injected Mashaal with poison but were captured. The fallout led to the release of Palestinian prisoners, the most high-profile of them being Hamas’s spiritual leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin.

Yassin was assassinated via IDF helicopter in the Gaza Strip in 2004, an operation personally overseen by then-Prime Minister of Israel Ariel Sharon.

All this misery going on and the western powers still support Israel. Even the Saudis are demanding that Hamas be eradicated if Israel wants to continue without interference. Everybody supports killing the Hamas vermin.

I guess it sucks to be on the side you're on right now. Nothing's going right. Yours and Palestine's only support is from the Jew haters. And they hated Jews even before the war, even before the "occupation".
Only Biden and Trudeau still support Israel.
Both of those just killed their reelection chances.
Even Israelis don't support Netanyahu.

Israel is now the state of genocide.

Hamas’s Oct. 7 crimes 'shock the conscience of humanity': ICC prosecutor (msn.com)

Hamas’s brutal slaughter of more than 1,200 people in Israel on Oct. 7 represents “some of the most serious international crimes that shock the conscience of humanity,” International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan said on Sunday as he concluded a visit to the Jewish state

Khan traveled to Israel at the request of families whose loved ones were murdered or taken hostage by terrorist groups based in the Gaza Strip, the prosecutor announced in a blog post on Sunday. Jerusalem does not recognize the court’s jurisdiction over the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

“In both Kibbutz Beeri and Kibbutz Kfar Azza , as well as at the site of the Nova Music Festival in Re’im, I witnessed scenes of calculated cruelty,” wrote Khan, vowing to work in partnership with victims’ families “as part of our ongoing work to hold those responsible to account.”

He called for the “immediate and unconditional” release of the estimated 137 hostages who remain in Hamas captivity, citing in particular “the egregious breach of fundamental principles of humanity through the taking and continued holding of children .”

Commenting on Israel’s military operation against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Khan noted that the Israel Defense Forces “has trained lawyers who advise commanders and a robust system intended to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law.

“Conflict in densely populated areas where fighters are alleged to be unlawfully embedded in the civilian population is inherently complex, but international humanitarian must still apply and the Israeli military knows the law that must be applied,” said the prosecutor.

“As I have repeatedly emphasised, civilians must have access to basic food, water and desperately needed medical supplies, without further delay, and at pace and at scale. And when such aid arrives, it must not be diverted or misused by Hamas,” the blog post continued.

During a meeting with Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, Khan discussed ways to “deepen our cooperation under the Rome Statute,” the ICC’s founding charter. The prosecutor said he also spoke with “victims and their families from the West Bank and Gaza.”

The P.A. in 2015 declared its acceptance of the jurisdiction of the ICC over alleged crimes committed by Israel. However, Israel does not recognize ICC jurisdiction over the so-called “situation in Palestine.”

The U.S. has likewise voiced strong objections to the Palestinians’ joining the International Criminal Court, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken previously expressing “serious concerns about the ICC’s attempts to exercise its jurisdiction over Israeli personnel.”
The US and UK had Khan put in place. I expect he won't last long in the job.

Israel's respect for the rule of law you claim to support is best epitomized by this.

I remember back when Jean Chretien was PM, and a Federal election was coming up. I was at synagogue for a friend's son's Bar Mitzvah, and the Rabbi, in his sermon, addressed the election briefly.

He said that Jews had traditionally voted for the Liberal party, but "held our noses" while doing so. Realizing that the Liberals were not much more on our side than the Conservatives at that time.
