The real issue is that the Israelis have no political incentive or intent to grant a 2 or 1 state solution for the Palestinians and Bibi or not, mean to take ALL lands from the river to the sea for themselves, even if it takes another 100 years of violence. That is the Israeli psyche and attitude.
Jesus Christ you are now an expert on the Israeli psyche? And for 100 years ahead? 🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡🤡

Practicality is important. How practical is it to expect Israel to remove 670,000 settlers and their homes and businesses? And how practical is it to expect Israel to agree to total Palestinian independence - which means Palestinians will have an army, navy and air force, have their own government, trade relations and so on? The PA did recognize Israel previously, but nothing came of it. The real issue is that the Israelis have no political incentive or intent to grant a 2 or 1 state solution for the Palestinians and Bibi or not, mean to take ALL lands from the river to the sea for themselves, even if it takes another 100 years of violence. You can keep arguing but it will NEVER happen. Istrsl has demonstrated in the past its willingness to remove settlements by force if necessary. It takes the right leader and Bibi is not him. Please do yourself a favour and look up the definition of never.

Also why should a one state solution be forced on Palestinians majority of whom don’t want it??
Because SJWs know better than Palestinians??

It is the wet dream of Hamas and the others selling the fantasy. What they cannot achieve militarily they hope to achieve demographically.

Hamas’s Oct. 7 crimes 'shock the conscience of humanity': ICC prosecutor (msn.com)

Hamas’s brutal slaughter of more than 1,200 people in Israel on Oct. 7 represents “some of the most serious international crimes that shock the conscience of humanity,” International Criminal Court Chief Prosecutor Karim Ahmad Khan said on Sunday as he concluded a visit to the Jewish state

Khan traveled to Israel at the request of families whose loved ones were murdered or taken hostage by terrorist groups based in the Gaza Strip, the prosecutor announced in a blog post on Sunday. Jerusalem does not recognize the court’s jurisdiction over the Palestinian-Israeli conflict.

“In both Kibbutz Beeri and Kibbutz Kfar Azza , as well as at the site of the Nova Music Festival in Re’im, I witnessed scenes of calculated cruelty,” wrote Khan, vowing to work in partnership with victims’ families “as part of our ongoing work to hold those responsible to account.”

He called for the “immediate and unconditional” release of the estimated 137 hostages who remain in Hamas captivity, citing in particular “the egregious breach of fundamental principles of humanity through the taking and continued holding of children .”

Commenting on Israel’s military operation against Hamas terrorists in Gaza, Khan noted that the Israel Defense Forces “has trained lawyers who advise commanders and a robust system intended to ensure compliance with international humanitarian law.

“Conflict in densely populated areas where fighters are alleged to be unlawfully embedded in the civilian population is inherently complex, but international humanitarian must still apply and the Israeli military knows the law that must be applied,” said the prosecutor.

“As I have repeatedly emphasised, civilians must have access to basic food, water and desperately needed medical supplies, without further delay, and at pace and at scale. And when such aid arrives, it must not be diverted or misused by Hamas,” the blog post continued.

During a meeting with Palestinian Authority chief Mahmoud Abbas in Ramallah, Khan discussed ways to “deepen our cooperation under the Rome Statute,” the ICC’s founding charter. The prosecutor said he also spoke with “victims and their families from the West Bank and Gaza.”

The P.A. in 2015 declared its acceptance of the jurisdiction of the ICC over alleged crimes committed by Israel. However, Israel does not recognize ICC jurisdiction over the so-called “situation in Palestine.”

The U.S. has likewise voiced strong objections to the Palestinians’ joining the International Criminal Court, with Secretary of State Antony Blinken previously expressing “serious concerns about the ICC’s attempts to exercise its jurisdiction over Israeli personnel.”

20,000 dead
all hospitals out of action
all infrastructure AKA Hamas terror tunnels under hospitals and schools destroyed
1/2 of all housing destroyed
all bakeries destroyed
All this misery going on and the western powers still support Israel. Even the Saudis are demanding that Hamas be eradicated if Israel wants to continue without interference. Everybody supports killing the Hamas vermin.

I guess it sucks to be on the side you're on right now. Nothing's going right. Yours and Palestine's only support is from the Jew haters. And they hated Jews even before the war, even before the "occupation".

In fairness Jew haters are a big group. So it must be very comforting to feel included while virtue signal like there’s no tomorrow

You're right. It has always been bubbling under the surface. This conflict makes them feel like they can crawl out from under their rock by pretending to be fighting for the Palestinian people. Just like frank's been doing.

In a way it's good because it shows how widespread that anti-Semitism actually is. And it's not because of Palestinians. I'd bet that of hundreds of thousands that are protesting, 95% hate Jews no matter what and maybe 5% are actually concerned about the Palestinians. Guaranteed that the white supremacists of Charlottesville ("the Jews will not replace us") are draped in Palestinian flags and scarves. They are just using the conflict as an excuse to come out of the woodwork and camouflage themselves.

My best guess is that most western pro Palestine protesters either root for an underdog because they themselves are underdogs (POC or 🏳️‍🌈, basically a progressive version of unhappy incels) or on top of that are generally anti semitic.

Edit- It is extremely idiotic for queers to take either anti Jewish position OR a pro Islam fundamentalist position and you’d want to think they are not stupid people but here we are

Blumenthal is a notorious pro Assad / pro Putin bullshit artist.

Klatuu, do better!
Given your hysterics, I think Max knocked it out of the park.
BTW, it was the chair of the committee investigating the issue of rapes that posted the fraudulent video. Don’t blame anyone but Israel for the continuous lying.

Well I have always believed that Hamas is a terror group and up to no good. But that said, how do you envision them 'capitulating'? They may not remain in power, but they will still exist as an extremist group. The Hamas guys are all replaceable. I have no problem with Hamas being decapitated or disemboweled. What I do have a problem with is Palestinian civilians, especially kids being decapitated and disemboweled, which is what is happening today. And that is not an exaggeration because I posted a graphic pic a couple pages ago. Such violence will only create MORE terror, not less. Infact, we have lessons we learned from the 20 year war on terror, where it actually created more terror, not less. So guarantee this will never happen again? I can guarantee you that this will happen again, and worse, 10,000%, in one form or another, if Israel keeps going down this road, which they most certainly are. Infact, they have already succeeded in creating many terrorists for the future.

Firstly, the analogy with the indigenous folks is actually working against your argument for a one state solution, because that is precisely what we have here. A one state solution. Indigenous people are citizens of Canada and they can do whatever they want, the same as us, after decades of slaughtering each other.

Secondly, the 2 state solution is dead. For a 2 state solution to happen we need 3 primary things:

1. Israel needs to agree: Israel won't. Infact, they have said that they won't. Infact here is Bibi, telling you that there will be no Palestinian state. So please tell me, how is a 2 state solution possible, when Bibi has a "no Palestinian statehood" platform. Infact, his Likud charter that I highlighted in my last response, shows that he wants to keep building settlements and that he only will agree to Israeli sovereignty between Jordan and the sea. (River to the sea).

2. Palestine needs to agree: For Palestine to agree, they need absolute independence. Politically, economically, militarily and morally. Forget land for a second. Will Israel agree to such independence? Not possible, given the above declaration that from the river to the sea, Bibi will only agree to Israeli sovereignty.

3. There needs to be contiguous land. Here is the map of Israel with the Palestinian areas highlighted in white. Please tell me how a 2 state solution can be formed with this current scenario:

View attachment 280073

So once again, when you talk about 2-state solutions, Hamas surrendering etc., these are disingenuous and not well thought out statements where you are basically spouting talking points, knowing full well, that what you are really supporting is ethnic cleansing/genocide of the Palestinians. Atleast, Mandrill said it out loud that he thinks the Palestinians should just leave to Egypt and Jordan. So if that is what you think, you should say that out loud, but atleast have the honesty to acknowledge the injustice you are supporting instead of empty words. 🤷‍♂️

So given this scenario, the only solution that will work, is steps towards a one-state solution. Baby steps, towards a one state solution to eventually happen a few decades later.

The only other option is genocide. So you decide, whether you want to be on the side of genocide or on the side of taking those steps necessary to integrate the Palestinians as equal citizens, into the only viable state we have right now, which is Israel.
I believe the phrase you are looking for is.....

"AUTHORS OF THEIR OWN DEMISE"

I am asking you to do the same. The 2 state solution will NEVER happen. There is literally ZERO incentive for Israel to let a 2 state solution happen.

So that is why am saying you are just flapping your gums without meaning a word of what you are saying. What you are really advocating is for ethnic cleansing and genocide.

The only 2 options are a 1 state solution or genocide. I don't think with the scrutiny Israel faces the genocide will happen. So the only thing that will happen, is an eventual 1 state solution, and I think this will happen naturally over a period of time, just like it did in Canada and the US. It will take many decades past our lifetimes however, in my opinion.
Your suggestion that there are only 2 options is absurd and for the sake of the Palestinians, who you purport to support, I hope you are wrong. If you are right and I do not accept that at all, then you are simply guaranteeing the status quo. You and your friends are the real enemy of Palestinian aspirations. Sad

I find it comforting that the hamas team on terb ended up making arguments that are so ridiculous.
Kinda helps me to believe that the civilization is on the right side of history and savages are on the wrong side
