Plenty of Victoria Cross and Metal of Honour winners got their decorations for killing people. Your claim that we don't celebrate people unless they save lives is incorrect.
Lt John R. Fox, US Army, got a Medal of Honour for calling artillery on himself when he was surrounded killing himself and 100 enemy. That's no different than a suicide bomb.

There was no proportionality in WWII. Way more Japanese died than Americans. The same with Germany. Were the Americans charged with war crimes?
At the end of a war where there is a winner and loser there is always disproportionality. It is what it is.

It is clearly either driven by racism towards Muslims. Or driven by the fact that someone is Jewish so they are partisan and nationalistic (like toguy5252).
