well that’s one of a few misconceptions you have. Also an interesting choice of words. Because prior to, and during British rule. Palestine never existed. Period. And had they tried to give peace a chance, longer than 24 hours….who knows what Palestine might look like today.

And AFAIK Jews were in that area as well predating the Ottomans. Did king David not decree that 3,000 years ago.?

be all that as it may, that’s all ancient history.
During British rule it was called "Mandatory Palestine" or simply Palestine from 1920 to 1948.

I am using history books and you are using religious books.

lmao. If you say so.
the territory existed. Not Palestine.
.

In 1988 the Palestine National Council meeting in Algiers proclaimed the establishment of the State of Palestine.
.

While the State of Israel was established on 15 May 1948 and admitted to the United Nations, a Palestinian State was not established. The remaining territories of pre-1948 Palestine, the West Bank - including East Jerusalem- and Gaza Strip, were administered from 1948 till 1967 by Jordan and Egypt, respectively.
.

As far as Jewish people and the diaspora in the region dating back 3,000 years or more. I’m curious what makes you think anyoneclaim is any better than the others.

I suggest you get refunds for your junk history books.

Maybe, they should have accepted one of the many peace agreements

You are missing the best part of the story. It was Israel that was secretly diverting Palestinian tax revenue to secret Bank Leumi accounts for Arafat. While they were calling him a terrorist, they were financing him.
That doesn't help the Palestinians whom he cheated and scammed, does it?

The Ottomans owned it from about 1500, until the British and French broke up the Ottoman Empire in 1919. Then the Brits owned it until 1948.

It’s just another injustice the Israeli government subjected Palestinians to. Israel stealing Palestinian tax revenue and secretly financing a corrupt leader and keeping him in power. All the while bleating to the world that they had to contend with a heartless terrorist. The Israeli government lied to the world, their people and Palestinians.

Can you believe anything the Israeli government says? There’s a lot of evidence that you can’t.

So butchering terrified Israeli women and children was justified because the HAMAS killers were peeved??!!
The story is that Egypt warned Netanyahu but he either didn't take it seriously or wanted an attack to bolster his career.
Hamas' attack was far more successful than they thought it would be.
But everyone knew it was coming.

Netanyahu could have made moves towards peace and it wouldn't have happened. Instead he kept the blockade going, no peace talks and more settlers and settler terrorism.

Sounds pretty sneaky and smart by the Israeli government.

If they had a hardcore, jihadi dude terror thug, how would that have helped them?

Just because you're pissed at someone, doesn't mean you go on a rape spree.

C'mon. The continual bleat that Palestine is "oppressed" hides the fact that HAMAS would genocide the Israelis in a heartbeat if it thought it could get away with it.

But it doesn't matter, does it?

They were turfed over 50 years ago by a nation with a first rate army and nukes. The Israelis ain't going anywhere. No matter how many suicide bombers offer their souls to Allah, the Jews are there to stay.

So the Palestinians either adapt to that reality. Or leave.
Churchill, pretty blatant....

There is no evidence of rape, mandrill.

You sound like conil these days, accusing Palestinians of 'genocidal intent' to justify genocide itself.
Look at it this way, Netanyahu thinks he can get away with genocide too, so he's actually doing it.
Does that make him any different than what you think is really evil? Actually committing genocide vs what you think Hamas thinks?

You're smarter than this.
