The Blue Jays early exit surely stings. However, I see a Texas versus Philadelphia final.

Any predictions?

Teams with more home runs in a game than their opponents are 17-2 in this year's MLB playoffs.

Boy, you're really going out on a limb there!
I was predicting Texas since September. Lol I saw a game in Arlington against the Mariners and I was totally feeling the Ranger vibe. I personally think Corey Seager is one of the best players in the game. Completely underrated as being the best.

Corey Seager has really moved up a couple of notches since arriving in Texas…Bryce Harper looks pretty good too

Philadelphia is so ridiculously tough to play at home.

I enjoy watching these games. I see managers who know what they are doing, I see players coming through with big hits and some big catches, I see players playing hard all the time and not getting picked off. Damn I wish Toronto had a team like that

Baseball is not my favorite sport to watch, but the playoffs are exciting. I always pretend to be the manager and see if he makes the same moves/changes that I would. Till this day, I'm shocked how long an old manager will leave in a high paid veteran pitcher when he's throwing junk and zero heat. I know you can't pull him till the 4th or 5th inning, but in do or die situations I think you have to. Also, most money pitchers egos can't accept getting yanked. I cry BS, you play the players that are performing. I guess I'll never be a MLB manager, LOL !

I don't know about now, but in the past, Toronto teams admit their main objective was to fill up the seats. Don't you have to win/or win it all to keep the seats filled ? Duh ! 😲

It may be tougher next year.

Based on how this year turned out, they may have lost some public support. Maybe.

But I believe that there will also be some very major ticket price increases planned for next year, which is the whole purpose of the renovations. That may cost some bums in the seats.

That's a bit of a 1-2 punch they will be dealing with.

I think its Philly's to lose. They are peaking right now. Utter dominance. Nobody can seem to get Harper out.

Trea Turner too!
Yep. Here are Turner's #'s since August 5
AB: 224
AVG: .357
R: 54
HR: 16
RBI: 46
SB: 13

Prior to that he was hitting .235 on the season, killing people's baseball pools. Crazy.

The level of intensity is just so different. The focus. The determination. The Blue Jays had this in 1992 and 1993…… but it was more sophisticated and professional lol.

….or Nick Castellanos. Is this guy even human??

He is hitting .313 with 5 home runs in 32 ABs. With a 1.205 OPS.

Holy shit. He’s better than a Philly Cheesesteak from Campos.

Looks like Texas is going to be as "streaky" in the playoffs as they were in the regular season. Hot, cold, hot, cold.

Phillies huge collapse 7th and 8th. Huge, I truly believe Kimbrel is overrated, the series could of been over by now . . . . My grandfather could hit off him, batting the other side. Come on, some managers don't yank their guy when they smell trouble . . . ( or they yank them 1 or 2 innings premature when they're throwing nothing but heat, hint hint, Blue Jays ! )
