The first step is Hamas removed and the hostages returned. If this isn't accomplished I don't see Israel agreeing to a ceasefire or anything at all.
Of course, par for negotiating with Israel.
In other words, strip yourself down to zero leverage with someone already squeezing your throat, all the military capability in the world,
and the U.S. behind them.
Do as they say, how they say, then they'll think about it.
Not one sided at all is it.

Is it not possible that the IDF decided to not fire missiles at the hospital given what they were told by the doctors?

As I said before, I have no idea who did what. But I find it hard to believe the IDF would do it given Biden's impending visit. It makes no sense politically.

Maybe one day we'll find out the truth, but I really don't trust the media in general on either side, so probably not...
I have no idea either, having said that, I don't think Biden's visit would make a difference.
Israel will do what they want to do, they know there are no political consequences, the U.S. supports them unconditionally.

Israel has already bombed 164 schools, 19 Mosques, 24 health centres and 23 ambulances.
Why do you think they wouldn't bomb another hospital?

This chart is a few days old.

How is it immaterial? As it stands today they don't recognize Israel. Especially in Gaza they are not even in control, but a terrorist group is.
Because they did in the past and it didn't change anything.
Its a false demand, like one of shack's posts.
Its meant to shift blame to Palestinians while Israel hasn't held peace talks in a decade.

Maybe because the hospital was so large, and couldn't be evacuated? Were the 24 Health centres full hospitals?

Perhaps some day we'll get the unbiased and unvarnished truth. In the meantime I fully sympathize with the innocents who have been killed or injured on both sides.

I believe the chart he posted was from the office for the coordination of human affairs of the World Health Organization.
They are usually fairly accurate but do not take into consideration why the area was targeted.

Well, then the only option for Israel is for Israel to defend itself thanks to the Oct. 7 terrorist act.

The hospitals are full as people went as refugees thinking they'd be one of the few safe places.
They aren't.
The roads are too bombed now for anyone to travel, too unsafe.

Sorry, I wasn't clear with my post, the website is called Sovereign Limits.
https://sovereignlimits.com/boundaries/egypt-palestine-gaza-land
There is a link where you can buy the brief on the history of countries borders.
Sovereign Limits is the most comprehensive source of land and maritime international boundary data.
All data is up to date as of 2022.
That map says Gaza is occupied by Israel and still not accepted by all parties.
That is as close as they get to saying there is a border of Palestine.
Which means its wiped from their map as well.
