“Ethnic cleansing or not” ? Ethnic cleansing is war crime under the Geneva Convention. And then you throw in a mindless “just saying” after speaking on behalf of a war crime. That’s flat out grotesque.

Why are Israelis allowed to respond to terrorism but not Palestinians?

Gazans could have had access to economic success if their resources had not been diverted to tunnels and rockets etc.
Because if Israel goes into Gaza with a superior armed force and start indiscriminately bombing every building in sight then they will be causing huge civilian casualties. The rules of war are clear that armies are to take every reasonable measure to avoid civilian casualties.
If news stories start coming out of Gaza showing dead Palestinian babies then Israel will be accused of war crimes too…just like HAMAS only worse because Israel is the superior force. It would erode support for Israel around the world, including the US.
Which is why I back BDS to end apartheid and get off the cycle of violence.
So what. Israel's allowed to do whatever they want to defend themselves. Just too repeat, it was Hamas, who started the war, in the first place!! The US already gave permission to Israel to defend themselves, how they see fit!!

Not once have you even suggested that Israel is in the wrong about anything, including the occupation and apartheid.
Am aware Ethnic cleansing is a war crime. I dont agree that what is happening today is ethnic cleansing. Also I am talking about a hypothetical scenario where the US gives Palestinians a green card. Why is that grotesque?
How many people, who have the audacity to disagree with you, have you had a chance to call racist so far? All everybody is saying is that Hamas' attack last week caused the current conflict. The world, outside of the Arab peoples, agrees with this. And even many people of Arab descent agree with this.

This particular attack by Hamas, was in planning for TWO years. The settler attacks you are referring to happened in 2023. So unless Hamas, time travelled and knew that there would be settler attacks for which they would have to respond in October 2023, you characterizing this terror attack as a response, is nonsensical.
Hence, they care nothing about the welfare of the Gazans. There is no other conclusion to be had.
